| Overall I'm happy with these, but the lower shelf doesn't take tall items, and the wire shelving is a little on the open side. |

I bought 2 of these. Exactly 2 weeks after putting them up, the rust started. It has now been about 8 months, and both are covered in rust, as if they are 10 years old, ready for the junk yard.
Why do people make products like this? We all know showers are warm, moist places, right? So...why would someone make a shower caddy that disintegrates in the very place it was intended to be used?
Very disappointing! |

| I had this caddy in my shower for less than a week and I was amazed to see it already started rusting!!! They used materials not meant to get wet! A total waste of money. |

| Seconding another reviewer, expect this caddy to rust. It's worth about $8 to $10 at best considering you are going to throw it out after a year. It gets a couple of stars from me because of its design, being fairly functional. But if it's going to rust out, why bother? I ended up throwing out actually two of them and finally biting the bullet by investing in a nonmetal shampoo, conditioner, hook, and shelf arrangment that affixes to the tile. Sure, it was much more expensive, but I've had the latter one for three years, there are no problems at all, and I'm never going to have to replace it. |

I really, really like this shower caddy. Seems kinda absurd, but I looked all over the place for the perfect shower caddy -- I just couldn't find exactly what I was looking for in this most basic of bathroom furnishings. While the Polder 2-tier wire shower caddy isn't totally ideal (on the top shelf, if you place the bottles incorrectly, they can slide forward and off the shelf -- but it's only happened once in months of owning it), it's a pretty great product.
So far it hasn't rusted at all, there's ample space for products, and I LOVE the basket feature on the bottom -- it means I don't have to gingerly place a shrinking bar of soap on the caddy with fears that it will slip in between metal slats. The netting ensures that the bar of soap, no matter what size, will stay put. Genius!
The only complaint I have (aside from the top shelf needing a lower "fence" to keep anything from sliding off, in the most shaky of circumstances), is that it's a little tricky to get on. You should most likely remove the shower hear to install this caddy, but I just forced it on because I didn't want to bother. Perhaps not the best approach, though it worked. But having the support bars along the back be a little farther apart would make installation and possible removal easier.
Overall, a really good product -- does its job, and does it well, and it was the best I could find for my preferences. |

"Lovely accent for shower, but rusts quickly" | 2006-09-02 |

This shower caddy is a great size and weight. The top which fits around the shower head is enclosed in clear silicone/plastic, which keeps the caddy gripped and in place. Additionally, there are two clear suction cups on the back of the caddy which hold it to the shower wall, preventing movement and swing.
The top rack allows storage of tall shampoo bottles, etc. The bottom rack is shorter and only fits soap, loofahs, etc.
What I dislike the most about this caddy is that it began to rust within two weeks of use. I guess I should have expected that with chrome...but I didn't. Three stars. |
