I bought this because, like most moms, I was frustrated that I spent so much time putting the pacifier back in the baby's mouth. My little guy wanted the pacifier but hadnt mastered anything longer than 1.2 seconds on his own.
When I bought these he was 6 weeks old and I found that he was still too young to keep it in his mouth for any period of time and wasnt ready to grasp at the stuffed animal yet either. Now, a month later, I would be mighty upset if these wubbanums disappeared. The baby loves to finger at the animal while he sucks wildly...everyone asks if I made them...and I always point them to this product.
The only negative I have found is that I expected the stuffed part to be a bit more "weightier" I sort of anticipated that it would be more of a beanie baby...in that it was filled with something more substantial to keep the pacifier from slipping down whenever the baby was in any sort of incline position. If these had a bit more weight to them they would be more useful for the youngest of babies (and their mothers!)
To solve the problem of it slipping I found that if I tucked the wubbanub under the harness restraint in his stroller/car seat it was perfect for sucking and not slipping.
As a mother that was, once, adamantly opposed to a pacifier (and now has an infant that uses one due to an immature suck/feed issue) I am 100% happy to recommend this product to any new mom. |

My baby loves her Soothie pacifiers. She doesn't like other ones. We got her this pacifier when she was very little. Now she can find it and stick it in her mouth even in the dark at night! So we don't have to go in and rescue her from a pacifier-free night. Plus, when it falls, there is more to catch so it is less likely to fall on the floor. My older kids think this one looks like Clifford.

This product is great. My 3 month old loves it. He is able to hold on to it much better than a regular pacifer. It also stays in place longer. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with an infant. In fact, I am purchasing some more as gifts.

My son would only take Soothie pacifiers. He HAD to have one to go to sleep (only as an infant) but couldn't keep it in his mouth, so we had to hold it in until he fell asleep. I got this wubanub and it worked WONDERS. The weight of the beanie animal held the pacifier down enough that he couldn't spit it out easily, but it wasn't attached to him, which is dangerous. The one downside I found it that it's a little tough to wash.

We bought a wubbanub for each of our twins when they were about 2 months old and they love them! We bought a penguin and a dog. We were told babies would first see the colors red, black, and white, so we thought these would be fitting. We were surprised that they were not heavier and thought that the babies would not be able to use them so early, as they did not seem to sit on their chests very steadily, but they had no problem and now that they are almost 4 months old their Wubbanubs go with us everywhere. They are able to hold onto them and put them back into their mouths on their own. We are so happy with them we bought backups!

I had my son in July and 4 days after his birth we had to take him to the NICU because he had jaundice so bad. While in the NICU the nurse asked us if he likes a pacifier. I said I wasn't sure because we had given him one of those Nuk pacifiers and he spit it out and didn't like it. She then order him the Red Dog Wubba Nub and he has been using it ever since! We liked them so much I ordered the Blue Horse for his diaper bag and got Green Frog for the downstairs in my house. There is literally a Wubba Nub everywhere and We don't leave home with out it. Kids love the plush animal and like the other reviewer stated it keeps the pacifier in the babies mouth. The Wubba Nub for me has been a life safer cuz it has allowed me to give my son the pacifier without having to hold it ---so I can be off cleaning or doing other things and don't have to listen to a screaming baby. They make a great gift too!! Everywhere we go people are like "what is that? That is so cool? I have never seen a pacifier like that". Buy it you won't be sorry!!!

This is the perfect solution for the young baby who wants or needs a pacifier but is constantly "spitting it out" or having it fall out (and YOU are constantly putting it back in!!)! The plush provides just enough weight to keep the pacifier in place, while not "forcing" it into the baby's mouth. The baby can still spit it out if she's trying to or if she turns her head, so it is not a suffocation hazzard. This product allowed me some desperately needed sleep since I didn't have to put the pacifier back in every 10 minutes!
