"Great "Bang" for Your Buck" | 2008-06-30 |

I bought this gun along with a P90 model from the same manufacturer at an anime convention. It's a very solid gun, made of around 70% metal and 30% plastic. Great construction, so I don't have to worry about the gun just randomly breaking.
There's no point in commenting on sites or scopes, as airsoft BBs don't fly straight anyways, and in close quarters are useless. The scope, silencer, flashlight, etc are pretty much cosmetic accessories to make your gun look cool, as is usually the case with airsoft weapons.
I had no beef with the magazines, and the speedloader that comes with it is simply great. You can load it full of rounds and carry it with you onto the battlefield to do a quick reload in battle. The gun's power is mid-ranged, around 230fps. The rate of fire is good enough that you can see a line of green (or whatever color your BBs are) when you shoot it in full auto.
Overall, a great gun, especially for the low price. Rated 4 out of 5 due to the power being less than 270fps, and a somewhat cheap internals (though much higher quality than most). |

| this particular gun is not to good, but there is a relativly cheap marui version that is way better. it has a hi fps, which is above 300 btw, for all you researchers. the mag holds about 25 rounds, and it is not very hard to hand load. the marui version shoots incredibly far. i have a lake house, which has a cove that is about 350 feet across. it unbeleivably shoots all the way across , and still hurts when hit. i am not saying this brand isnt good, but this marui is not to expensive, and it is a lot beter. btw this is not suzie, its her 14 year old son. |

| This gun is really great! It shoots very accurately up to 40 feet, and the rate of fire is pretty good. The high-cap magazine is sweet because it holds a lot of rounds. I'm not sure if it holds 110 but it holds plenty to get through a battle. The only thing with the high cap mag is that every 10-20 shots (maybe more) you have to wind the little wheel on the bottom of the magazine to basically push the BBs up (There's a diagram on how it works in the manual if you are curious). This isn't a problem because it only takes a second to do and if you're behind cover it's not a problem at all. The manual was easy to read and told me what to do. Be sure you read carefully about the battery, because you're supposed to wear it out first then charge it for 12 hours the first time. After the inital charge I think it says 7-8 hours but i'm not sure. Overall I have no complaints with this. It's a great, sturdy gun for backyard battles and is lots of fun to shoot. |

upon receiving the CYMA MP5 i was impressed, for $30 you cant go wrong.
it has a nice weight to it...if i had to guess its about 5 lbs.
everything seems very sturdy and the stock is rigid.
accuracy is decent, i am able to hit a target within 2-3 shots at 100ft.
ROF is impressive, if i had to guess ide say about 8-9BPS
the FPS is somewhat low around 210FPS but given that it is a CQB weapon it is acceptable and the BBs CAN be felt( and for those saying it doesnt even hurt...it not supposed to hurt the people you are shooting at) but it does sting a bit.
i hear many people complain that the sight riser is wobbly...mine came with 4 screws to screw it in with and it doesnt wobble at all.
the red dot sight and goggles are somewhat cheaply made but those are easy to replace and shouldnt be much of a problem.
the instructions are understandable and shouldnt give you much of a problem.
it is mostly plastic but there are a few metal parts including the sling clips and the charging handle.
over all it is a very solid gun and performs much like it more expensive counter-parts. over all i give this gun a 4/5. |

| I'm a 16 year old guy and I like to shoot stuff. Given this, I took very well to airsoft games with my friends and neighbors. When we started we were all green to the game and 6 years later we're almost pros. having said that I'd like to add that this gun is excellent for beginner to intermediate players, it's a good addition to any size arsenal as both a primary and secondary weapon. My only complaint is with whoever put mine together, they left out the speed loader for the low-cap mag...sad, yet not crippling, the high cap mag is better anyway. |

| First of all, I would like to say that I love this Mp5. As a newbie in Airsoft, this is my first AEG. It isn't the best compare to higher end gun but decent. Doesn't shoot hard or far but its okay. If I had a choice though,I would very much save up more money for a better gun. like my JG m4 that I just recently brought. |

| This airsoft gun shoots pretty far but does run out of ammo quickly. The battery will last about 1 hour at full power. After that time, the battery power is limited and the gun only shoots about 75 feet. |

"awesome till it jammed" | 2008-04-17 |

This gun is an awesome gun but as people said before me it is not a powerful or very accurate gun so it is for starters. I'll go over the goods and bads since it did jam on the first day.
Goods: -Extreamly realistic in feel and overall design -Heavy witch adds to the realism -Adjustable stock -Included speed loader -red light sight -2 mags -really high rate of fire
Bads: -The normal magazine only holds 20 rounds so it does empty very quickly -The high cap mag doesn't work very well and it continually need to be wound even though it said it does it itself -The instruction booklet is very vauge and most of it is in chinese/japanese -silencer is tilted off center -And as I said earlier it jammed on the first day and it won't unjam whatsoever. The unjamming rod is extreamly flimsy and everytime I think I'm about to get it unjammed the whole thing bends and almost brakes so I can't nearly push as hard as I would need to. Also, hence the instruction booklet being in the different language that it is it doesn't explain how to unjam it at all. All it says is insert the "unloading" rod with the angled part down, then remove clogged bullets. It also said that "Clogging bullets come out at a high rate of speed to wear safety goggles and confirm safety". I am now aiming to take it apart and try to remove the bb's that way. I gave it 3 stars because I love it but it basically sucks with fireing. If it doesn't jam for you then this is an amazing gun. Also about the shipping, it arrived very quickly and the packaging is nice even though we all hate styrofoam. |

First i open the box and took it out. It felt very heavy(+). I noticed you could ajust the rear stock. I charged the battery and loaded up. I took several shots at a target 25 feet away. I hit it 15 out of 27 times. Not bad for the price.
Pros -Price -Heavy -Straight shooting for close range -Fast Shipping (Ordered on tuesday night recieved it on Saturday) -Ajustable hop-up and stock -Fast unloading
Cons -Fradgile battery I broke off the cables in the first 10 minutes but duct tape fixed it. -Not long range gun. -Only 200fps -Weird magizine(it has this carosell thing inside the clip)
Thats it.
Thanks -cam |
