This works great for small recipes and small families, its not really high powered like the more expensive larger kitchenaide food processors, this is perfect for tomatoes, zucchni shredding, I recommend if you dont cook massive amounts, I will need a larger one for my needs, as I replaced one much bigger and didnt realize that until I bought this one..still can do the job for small amounts

So far I'm very pleased with my KitchenAid food processor. The 7 cup size isn't too big to leave on the counter, so you tend to use it even more often than if you had to drag it out every time. It was a little heavier than I expected, but being on the counter it doesn't matter.br /br /The only thing I haven't been pleased with is chopping garlic. But I've only tried it in the 7 cup, not the 3 cup mini bowl, which is recommeded. I also haven't used the slicer blade yet, as I bought it primarily for chopping. It takes a little practice to get the right size chop. It has more power and takes less time to do the job than my old food processor did.br /br /All in all I'm very happy with this product and I would recommend it.

"Easy to use, Thin slices, Great pizza dough" | 2008-09-15 |

I love this machine! This seven cup processor Slices evenly, instantly, and Chops great, into tiny tiny pieces if needed. Salads are lovely when the cucumbers, peppers, tomato and onion are sliced so finely and evenly. The three cup smaller bowl was included, and I used it once, to chop up one clove of garlic, which it did quite nicely. I used this processor many times since I have had it, and find the size quite convenient, for my two person family. It does not come with a dough hook, but the regular blade worked fine for mixing dough. One thing, with this size, they don't make attachments, such as the citrus juicer, but I don't care since I have a separate juicer. I read every review here before I bought, shopped everywhere, and did not see any better deal than this.

I dont have much to compare to. My previous one was a wal-mart fp. This one is so quiet and stable, I feel like I've upgraded from corolla to mercedes :) I love the mini cup. Perfect for mincing small quantities like half-an-onion.

I LOVE this processor. You are getting two in one (7c. & 3c.). It is so easy to use and so easy to clean. Food does collect around inside rim of cover, but it is not hard to clean. I would definitely purchase another whenever this one wears out.

I had previously owned the 12 cup version of this product. The shredding blade design on that one kept hitting the side and eventually chipped the top. I returned it and reordered this 7 cup size. Couldn't be any more pleased. Works like a dream, super quiet and FAST...Easy clean up....Highly recommended!

When my 20+ year old food processor died, I began to shop for the replacement. I referred to Consumer Reports and went with their recommendation and have no regrets. It is "quiet" for a processor, just like CR said and I just love the Mini-Bowl. Grating cheese and slicing veggies is also great. What is new for me is the turning it on and then dropping in the food for any processing desired and that works nicely. I would buy it all over again.
