| I am 6'2", 230 lbs. This machine holds up to the pounding of jogging on it and is long enough for my stride while running. Easy to put together. The one touch speed control is not true. While running and wishing to select a different speed, you need to select the speed and hit enter otherwise it will revert back to the speed it was originally at. |

Excellent purchase!
*** CAUTION ***
***DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM FROM THE TREADMILL SUPERSTORE / [...] or from MERCANTILA INC.***
I made the unfortunate error and it was a terrible experience. Thankfully my credit card amount was refunded.
***BUY IT FROM AMAZON***
I got tired of waiting around at LA Fitness for an available treadmill to use and I decided to purchase one. This was an excellent purchase a buddy already owned one and reported no issues at all.
The Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill is worth every penny!
Now I no longer have to drive to the gym and wait and wait and wait for my turn on a treadmill, I exercise at home and it is so convenient. |

| I purchased the Bowflex Series 7 treadmill from Amazon.com on Nov. 20th. On Nov. 26th, it arrived and the second rate carrier didn't even have a dolly to unload the 300 pound treadmill! After installing it, I programmed it for a test run, but after 10-15 seconds it shut off showing an LS error message. Of course the manual and the corporate website had no information explaining error codes, so I emailed customer service since they didn't provide service on weekends. After almost three days w/o a response, I called a customer service agent who ran some diagnostic tests with me, and he said that the speed sensor was probably damaged in transit. He told me to send proof of purchase via email to a designated email address, then my part would be sent to me. After a week went by with no replacement sensor, I emailed back, and he claimed that they hadn't received my proof of purchase. As it turns out, he gave me the wrong email address to send the information to! So as you might expect, this sent me over the edge!! This company and its customer service is INEPT!!! Do not purchase anything from them! It's December 10th, and I still cannot use the treadmill I purchased for 1400 dollars on November 20th!!! To top it off, when the part arrives, I have to fix it myself!! This company is terrible and customers are not in their best interest! Consumer Reports dropped the ball on this one!! Please don't make the same mistake I have made. Buy a NordicTrack at Sears and let them set it up!! |

| The Bowflex 7 Series treadmill is an excellent product. It is well constructed and offers many exercise programs and options. The only problem that I have experienced with the treadmill was the fan that blows air on the user while exercising was damaged in shipment and does not work. The warranty should cover the repair. I am very well pleased with the Bowflex 7 and would recommend it to anyone desiring a high quality treadmill. |

| This product was delivered in excellent shape and sooner than I had expected. The assembly was quite easy. The only suggestion I might have is there needs to be more information on the adjustments. There is not really enough information to allow me to adjust the belt without talking to someone. |

Ease of ordering product:
Was able to easily order this item through Amazon. Selected free shipping method.
Delivery of product:
Product arrived 8 days later and was shipping using ABF.
Condition of product when it arrived:
Box was slightly damaged, but was in good shaped. Box is 45x48x24 and weighs about 250 lbs. I am almost the same size as the box and needed help getting it in my door. (instructed carrier to leave on door.)
Condition of product in box:
Well packaged and there was no damage.
Ease of assembly:
Need small cordless screwdriver and a little help installing the console. Other than correct tools and help with the console, its in good shape and went together easily. I took my time and it was assembled in approx. 1.5 hours.
Conclusion:
Haven't used it yet, but I am please with my purchase so far. Seems like a very well made and technically up to date piece of equipment.
30 day update will be posted in mid October with more information.
Regards and good luck to all. |

My machine arrived to my house, the delivery person was great, helped me push it into the house.
I put it together. I did notice right away the machining of all the Allen bolts was pathetic: some did not screw into place correctly, some were finished poorly and had smooth edges, thus becoming stripped. I didn't make a big fuss about this, as I was able to tighten them with my own tools without fully stripping them. Also, one of the allen wrenches provided by Bowflex would have completely stripped these bolts because it was machined poorly as well. USE YOUR OWN TOOLS if you put this together.
OK, so then the problems really begin. I turn the machine on, and it keeps erroring out after 5 seconds.
SO... I call Bowflex's parent company Nautilus. Here is where it gets interesting.
It seems like Nautilus treats Bowflex like its ugly, red-headed step sister. Everything about the customer service was second rate.
So I finally speak to a customer representative, and explain the error message I'm gettig. Instead of offering to send someone out, they instruct me to remove the motor cover panel to diagnose the problem. I did this with a deal of trepidation, but continuing, we (I) spent about an hour figuring out the problem. Keep in mind, troubleshooting is being done by myself, and secondarily from a customer service rep reading a schematic, not a service technician.
So then, she tells me they'd send out the part we think is busted. And I am going to replace it for them. And on top of that, it's going to take 7-10 business days to arrive, as this is Bowflex's "slow" season.
So now I'm sitting here waiting, with a defective product.
When a company sends defective machinery like this to a customer, they better make sure to remedy the problem in person IMMEDIATELY. They have a headquarters 15 miles from where I live, Nautilus that is. But this is a Bowflex, and apparently they couldn't care less.

| Heartrate monitor doesn't work. Speed, distance, and other readouts work only occasionally. Called customer service and the representative said she'd get back to me after consulting the Bowflex tech. dept. She didn't return my call. Over the next 18 days I tried other customer service representatives, only to be told they couldn't take over an open case. Finally asked for the cust. service manager. and got a new circuit board sent, but didn't correct the problem. Very difficult to box up a 300 lb. machine and send it back. Very frustrating to be asked by Bowflex to fix a new $1400 treadmill myself. Service reps. ranged from indifferent to rude. |
