| I was a little unsure about purchasing an Ergo keyboard since I knew it would be a little adjustment. But it is wonderful! It is very comfortable and natural and since using it I don't have any more problems with carpral tunnel syndrome. I would recommend this product. |

"Do you love your wrists? Buy this." | 2008-10-05 |

| I've had a normal qwerty keyboard for several years. I have very broad shoulders, and in order to line up my hands on a standard keyboard, I had to rotate my left wrist at an acute angle (~70 deg). My wrist started becoming very sore after extended use, so I bought this ergo keyboard. It is fantastic! Some people complain about the space bar being difficult to depress, which is true if you're pressing at the extreme edges of the button. The short answer is, place your thumbs where they should be, and you'll have no trouble hitting the space bar. After all, this keyboard is ergonomic. Also, there are a BUNCH of extra application keys. Very useful. Lastly, I was unable to get the zoom slider to work (center of keyboard). For some reason it defaulted as a scroll slider. Not a big deal, but I have a scroll wheel on my mouse, so I really wanted teh zoom to actually zoom. That's software issue though. |

| This is a great Keyboard. It has many new features than the older models. It makes computing all the more easier. Several quick buttons can be set for your 5 main sites or even documents on your computer. If you are surfing the internet.. you can easily hit the "back" or "forward" buttons. Hit a button and the Calculator appears. If you have to use an ergonomic keyboard I highly recommend this one!! |

| All around a very good keyboard but the fact that the spacebar is so hard to press down compared to previous versions makes me think others are right. The spacebar really needs to be fixed. Splitting it into two would probably be the best route. I do hope the play on the key eases up with some use, or I can see getting some cramps in my thumbs. |

| I was prompted to order this keyboard when I started to have wrist/hand pain on my standard keyboard. Since, using this keboard, my pain has gone away! I did not take me more than three days to get accustomed to the shape of the keyboard. However, it is a little bulky, please make sure it will fit into the space that you are looking to place it in. Enjoy! |

| This keyboard is extremely comfortable!! It took a little while to get used to, but once I did, there's NO going back to the standard keyboard. I had to take off the front support, as it made it too high and unnatural for my wrists. Not a big deal as it is very easy to remove. All in all, the best keyboard I've typed on. |

When my wife started complaining of tingling sensation in fingers, I got her this and the 3M ergo mouse. It is 4 weeks now and the tingling is gone. The combination worked. |

This keyboard is very nice. I first purchased it at Best Buy about 2 months ago now. When I got it out of the box and started typing with it I immediately fell in love with it. The negative tilt is what one needs to fight off wrist/forearm pain after hours at a keyboard.
However, to my horror, I noticed that whenever I hit the spacebar key there would be an overly loud "click" or "tap" noise that it would make. I sit at a keyboard for hours on end every day and that ruined it for me. Even though I loved the feel and extreme comfort, I had to take it back because that noise was very, very annoying. At Best Buy we asked to see the other keyboards and have them take them out of the boxes and every single one also made that click noise when the spacebar key was pressed. We then went across the street to OfficeMax, and sure enough, all the keyboards over there also made the same noise.
I shopped around for other keyboards but none of them were anywhere near as comfortable to type on as the one I took back (the one this review is about).
My wrists and forearms were hurting more and more each day, and finally I just decided I would have to live with the loud clicking. I bought it again, this time from Amazon, because the price was about $40 cheaper than from stores like Best Buy or Office Max.
When it arrived in the mail, the keyboard that came didn't make that loud obsessive noise when the spacebar was clicked!! I was overjoyed. I guess there may have been some defective ones shipped with a bad spacebar key and they all got shipped to the area that I live. I have however noticed other complaints in these reviews about a very loud spacebar key, but the one that I received is perfect in every way.
As I said before, the negative tilt is amazing. It is what you really need to fight off typing pain and future health problems. I love the calculator key, because I use that all the time, you just push the button and the calculator pops up in Windows. The favorites buttons are really cool, you can open up any program you want by pushing a button on your keyboard. There are only 5 favorites keys though (should be more than enough if you ask me) You can adjust the volume of your speakers with the keyboard too, which I find very useful.
Overall, the bells and whistles are really neat, but I am so glad that I have this keyboard because the comfort is truly amazing. The pain I was having that was growing daily went away after just a day or two of using it. I recommend this keyboard to anyone and everyone who sits at a keyboard for long periods at a time.
One last thing, my wife has to look at the keys when she types, and if you are one that has to do that too, this keyboard probably is going to frustrate you because of the angle and slope of the keys. It's designed for people who rest all 8 fingers on the home row and just think and the letters come on the screen. |
