| I became interested in purchasing a single serve machine after seeing all the TV ads for the Tassimo unit before Christmas. After doing some research on the different units available, I decided on the Keurig B60. The incredible deal through GoSale helped with the decision, but I don't regret it one bit. My husband, daughter and I really enjoy being able to make our own personal cup of coffee whenever we want. I actually started drinking more coffee than normal! My only disappointment is the serving sizes don't actually come out to the amounts given. I usually use 2 k-cups to fill my travel mug. I absolutely love the aroma left lingering in the house after brewing my favorite Gloria Jean's hazelnut. |

| My mother has a kuerig, and after having used her's on many occasions I was very tempted to get one. Even though the kuerigs are well worth the money I felt I didn't drink enough coffee to justify spending over a 100 dollars on a coffee maker. Now I can honestly say it was worth every penny!!! No more burnt coffee, no more screwing around with coffee scoops, and grounds and filters. A single serve machine is right up my alley and the kuerig delivered every step of the way. It boasts a super hot brew temp that rivals that of the professional machines that dunkin donuts and other similar places use. Absolutely no fuss what so ever you drop your K-Cup in hit the button and in a matter of a few seconds you have a excellent cup of coffee. when your done all you have to do is just discard the used K-Cup and that is it no cleaning, no messes, no fusses at all!!! The convenience factor alone is worth the price of the coffee maker. Not to mention the wonderful selection of different coffees available for the kuerig makes it an excellent buy as well. It also has an accessories that you can buy for it to use your own coffee grounds, but that can get a little messy, but why bother when there are so many coffees available for the machine? I can honestly say that there is a brand and type of K-cup for every coffee lover (I love green mountain, and coffee people). In closing I totally love my Kuerig, and I guarantee the next machine I get will be kuerig all the way!!!! |

I'm giving this machine 5 stars, but not because it makes the best coffee. However, it can make a decent cup of coffee in less than a minute with no cleanup. It doesn't get any easier than the Keurig.
I have many ways to make excellent coffee. I have a quality burr grinder (takes up a lot of space), a Bodum Santos vacuum pot (fragile thin glass, easy to break while washing, potential to melt the handle on the stove if you're not careful), a Bodum French press pot (also easily broken and a hassle to clean), a Chemex pot (easily broken), a Bialetti espresso pot (a hassle to clean and time consuming to make the coffee), and even a regular Melitta cone. I buy my beans every week from local roasters. I love good coffee, but I find that sometimes I'm just too lazy to bother with all the paraphernalia, the elaborate preparation and then cleanup to make really good coffee. I also like to drink coffee throughout the day, so going through this coffee ritual and cleanup several times a day was really getting old. I'll still use my other coffee-making tools, but the Keurig machine is great for when I don't have time or energy to bother.
I never would have believed that a system like this could make a decent cup of coffee, but I tried it at my in-laws' house and was pleasantly surprised. They had to larger model (the B70, I believe, which they bought at Costco). I chose the B60 Special Edition because the higher models didn't seem to have any other desireable features except the larger water tank. The regular B60 does not make the 5.5 oz size, but the Special Edition B60 does.
It did take some experimentation to find the "K-cups" that I like. I only liked 2 of the samples that came with the machine, and some were downright horrible. I also found that brewing anything larger than the smallest cup results in a cup of undrinkable brown liquid. I've also found that the "extra bold" K-cups tend to have a very dark over-roasted burnt taste that I don't like, with the exception of Newman's Own Extra Bold. Newman's Decaf is also good. I wish Amazon carried larger boxes of Newman's through their delivery club.
I thought about buying a "My K-Cup" so that I can try the Keurig with good coffee beans, but I may just save the good coffee for when I have the energy to use a better coffee-brewing method. |

| My wife and I had a conventional coffee maker that was almost impossible to brew less than a full pot of coffee even though we drank only a small portion of the brewed coffee. The Keurig is exactly what the doctor ordered! Yes, I agree it may be more expensive on an individually brewed cup basis BUT the fact that we're not wasting so much coffee, I'm sure that it's more cost effective. BUT, who cares! it's really cool and the varieties of available coffee K-cups is great! We love it! Love it, love it, love it! |

| I recently purchased this coffee maker and love it. I love the ease of getting a fresh coffee house cup of coffee at home. There is a large variety of K-Cups available. I even picked up a battery operated frother from Bed Bath and Beyond to enhance my coffee experience. I have owned many coffeee makers but this is by far the best one I have ever owned. It was worth the price I paid for it. In just three months it will pay for itself by not having to stop at the local store for a quick cup of coffee. |

| I've had a Keurig B40 pot for a couple years now, and I really liked it; enough so that when it quit, I bought another. To replace it I bought the B60, which looks to be the same size/capacity, but with shiny trim and more blue lights. I was very surprised to find out it was MUCH quieter than my old one, which is a real plus for my wife. She always complained about the B40 waking her up at 5AM with the noise it created during the brew-pump cycle. So...I'm happy once again, and now she's happy too! |
