This was a treat that I bought myself. I am glad I did. K-cups are great but a word to the wise 1 k cup does well in the small and middle size cup serving but is weak in the large one. Therefore I can see no point in buying a machine that offers a larger size of cup. I do use their filter and the my k-kup - great for t bags and coffee bags available on ebay and Amazon. I have reused the k cup with my own coffee with the cap that is available. Best deals for K Cups are Amazon subscribe and save and Bed, Bath and Beyond with a coupon. Nice machine.

I can't deny it really does make a great cup of coffee when it works, the best.

But every single one I've bought (3 in 5 years) I've had to get replaced, Keurig has been very good about replacing them, but come on, every single one.

The replacements work about the same so when you start doing the math, don't wince.

I'm looking for a replacement brand and would love to hear a recommendation, I still plan to drink k-cups.

We bought the B60 about 3 months ago. We love it! I tell my husband almost everyday how much I love it. Yes, it may cost a little more per cup then a regular coffee maker but its cheaper then Starbucks or even BurgerKing coffee. Its so fast and the clean up is a breeze which is what we wanted. We wanted a cup of coffee at our fingertips with no mess. This is it. No filters to clean, no coffee to scoop, no glass canister to clean. We pop in the k-cup, add water if needed and enjoy!

Whether you drink coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, this machine is for you. It will automatically turn on and off so that you're not wasting electricity during the night. It also comes up to temperature in just 2-3 minutes if you turn it on just before brewing.

I drink only one or two cups of coffee anymore and wanted convenience. This is perfect for me!
I push the button to start my cup of coffee as I let my dogs out the door in the morning and pick up my cup of coffee on my way back inside.
I use K-cups and also put my own coffee in the K-cup holder that is sold separately, but am going more for the convenience of the K-cups now. Love some of the coffees, and also use it for teas, hot chocolate and soups.
Very easy to keep clean and holds 48 ounces of water so can serve several cups before refilling water reservoir.

I've been seeing this Keurig at my in-laws house for the past year, I thought it was a cute gimmick. When I spoke with my wife about getting a small brewer (4-6 cup) for us since I only drink one or two cups a day, she suggested this one. I hesitated due to it's price, but took the plunge. I couldn't be more pleased with the simpleness and taste of brewing coffee with this system. Whether it's one cup for me or a few for others, it's quick and simple. No mess.

If you are looking at the more basic model, skip it. This one has features that you'll want, such as auto on and off, size selection, and temp adjustment. I looked at the platinum model, couldn't see how it was worth the extra $$.

Pros:
*No messy cleaning of filters needed.
*No burnt coffee with a carafe brewer
*Great taste. Quick.
*Great selection of coffees and other drinks for this system

Cons:
*THIS IS A BIG ONE FOR ME. CAN'T RECYCLE THE K-CUPS. I've sent a note to the company, they sent me a link to their commitment to the environment. Still, the plastic from the cups isn't marked, so I can't throw them in the recycling. I can throw the coffee into a compost, but that's about it. I feel guilty for using the K-cups vs. using the "My K-Cup", but the K cups are so much easier and taste better.
* I wouldn't mind a size above the large size on this system. Maybe a little more joe to go.
