I love this processor for most work. But anything that is too liquidy and more than 2" deep in the bowl ends up leaking everywhere.

I bought this Processor a year ago- the design is absolutely beautiful,it is the star of my kitchen !
The mini bowl is perfect, I use it almost every day.
I especially like the ease of opening the lid- I have had other processors that made this a chore.
I am very happy with this purchase.

I like this food processor but was unaware when I purchased it that it cannot hold more than 1/2 inch to 1 inch of liquid or it leaks out. Now that I have learned that I am fine with what it does. We make salsa, pie dough and process home grown dried herbs in it. It is very quiet. It stays in place when operating...doesn't vibrate around the counter. And it cleans up easy. Very good quality.

Processor is fantastic. I own more than one at different locations. It is efficient, easy to clean and a work horse in the kitchen. The mini bowl is a major plus. Time saving.

I bought this unit because of all of the positive reviews, however I find myself returning it. When making something like salsa, cole slaw or other dishes that contain even the smallest amount liquid, the liquid will come through the middle of the device under the blade and out the bottom of the bowl. Unfortunately it is a pain to clean up! Additionally the unit is very bulky and doesn't fit into my cupboard or on my counter. I love KitchenAid (I've had a mixer for years and wouldn't give it up), but this downside of not being able to handle any liquid makes the device completely irrelevant for me.

Highly recommended in all ways, quiet, tough, durable, pretty....just one minor complaint: The lip surrounding the hole in the center of the large bowl COULD and SHOULD be higher to prevent liquids from running all over the base. I've had other food processors where the center lip is as tall as the bowl itself...not sure why they designed it this way???? Otherwise it's top nocth!
