| I pair this with my Recon CS-6, and I think it's the best Nerf gun (other then the Recon). It's pretty durable, and supports a couple attachments. If you buy this, I recommend extra ammo. |

| This isn't a good blaster for a primary. It's a legit sidearm, but the speed and the insane RoF are what makes this thing awesome. It's THE ultimate choice for a Speed Raider. Speed Raiders rush in and deal as much damage possible, and then go for a quick retreat. The small size allows extreme portability. As for range, it goes as much as a heavily modded Scout. (The Scout's terrible, modded it's OK) There is also an insanely easy mod to make the barrel extend further. Mine can be taken out. It's very durable, I have two. One is broken due to a modding accident. I now use that barrel for a clip on my working one. |

This is a great toy, but let's just say it won't help raise your little boy as the next Einstein.
Kidding aside, it's pretty powerful. It can hurt if fired close-range, but you won't kill someone.
The main problem I had was that it's kind of hard to load in the bullets. It's not actually hard, persay, but takes a couple of seconds. If your buddy had a faster loading gun, you'd be...in trouble.
Good value. |

"The Best Nerf Gun Ever" | 2008-07-29 |

This is the best Nerf gun ever made. It shoots straighter and farther then any other Nerf gun, including the Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Longshot CS-6 and the Nerf N-Strike Recon Cs-6 Dart Blaster. I've owned two of them and they rock. My kids always fight over the maverick, and we'd got a Nerf gun arsenal that Rambo would find respectable. Also an other get feature is that they will shoot any of the Nerf brand and off brand darts. Which is a great feature when almost every gun out there these days comes with their own specific ammo. And for about $10, its a total steal. |

| This is one of the best nerf guns. It usually shoots farther than 30 feet, and is fun to use. To me it is better than the longshot, because it isn't as heavy, and does not get jammed, even though sometimes the darts get stuck in the slots. It can be hard to pull back the slide on it when you first start using it, but after a while it will loosen up and become easier. This is a good gun to buy if you are just starting to play with nerf guns. |

| This thing is really cool. Very easy to load(just make sure the darts are pushed fully into their slots for problem free shooting). I bought some whistling darts for my cat's enjoyment(no I don't shoot him). He loves them and chases them as I shoot them around the house. WoW! The whistling darts fly much better and faster than the originals(further distances). I suggest buying those extra darts and using them instead. |

I am an 11 year old nerf fan. I got the nerf Maverick and I am in LOVE with this gun. Light-weight, durable, accurate, easy to load, quick firing, and its small. The Maverick bullets fly very fast and are difficult to dodge. This is a must have for a nerf fan.

| This gun is probably one of the best guns I've ever gotten. It shoots at an accuracy of about four hits at thirty feet which is better then my Recon nerf rifle and it is very easy to cock. There is one problem with the design though. It is very hard to attach a scope or lazer sight to it because its grooves where you put the scope are on the cock system, which makes it very hard to cock. There are many good things about this gun though like how light it is for its firepower and it lasts a while. From my experience it also can take some beatings and it is a very good gun to have if you're just starting to play because it is very easy to aim. And I'd also recommend it to anybody who's looking for a good but cheap gun. This gun is definately worth paying ten dollers for. |

| Very cool gun! I am 20 and I just horse around with my friends with it. The only problem is the barrel sometimes takes a bit to open/close. The closing problem is frustrating because you have to push the button to open AND close the barrel. This shoots very far, and does not hurt if it hits someone. It was only $10, and I think it's worth that value. |
