| It does get some static. But I've washed the thing in the washing machine 4 times and it still works great. I wanted a new one so I got a samsung hated it it kept falling out of my ear and the ear hook sucks. I love the 320's hook it rotates and its not a hard plastic and it just fits better so I've switched back. Also Ive used the 320 with a motorola nextel phone it worked horrible then I got the RAZOR with ATT works great. So sometimes its the phone. |

This is a good unit for any non-business or non-heavy user. I've had this headset for many years, but stopped using it years ago because of the inconsistent connections. With California's new hands free law, I've started using it again, but the periodic drops or bad connections were not acceptable for business use. When it connects and keeps the connection, this is a very good unit with above average sound and voice quality. Good connections are about 75-80% of the time.
Fit is excellent so I'm sticking with plantronics on my next headset. |

"Great Bluetooth for the Price" | 2008-07-14 |

| I have owned this unit about three weeks now. I got this unit at a close out price, and I feel that I definitely got my money's worth. I have never owned a Blue-tooth head set before so I have nothing to compare it to. I read reviews on the Internet and decided that this was the unit I wanted in my price range. The sound is clear and intelligible on both ends,... as far as I can tell, even in the car, which is what I bought it for...(to use while driving)... and it is fairly comfortable for about 2 hours of ware, but after that becomes somewhat uncomfortable. I think with some adjustment it may be possible to make it feel even more comfortable, a lot of comfort depends on your own sensitivity, ear and head shape. Once paired with my phone, Razr V3, it reconnects each time in a matter of seconds (usually). Only once did it take longer. Before buying this headset I had never hear of Plantronics before, but I would say that their products have a good build quality and good sound. I liked these units more than the Motorola headsets mostly because of the way they fit rather than any sound quality issue. |

| Of the 8 headsets I've tested, this one is about average. The sound quality is slightly muffled. No worse than most of the ones I've tried, but definitely not as good as my favorite, the Plantronics Voyager 510. If you've got a noisy environment, this one probably won't satisfy. I liked the single button function and found it worked great with only a rare glitch when the headset would partially connect to the phone resulting in me being able to hear through the headset but needing to speak through the phone. (Turn off the headset and turn it back on. No need to end the call.) My partner and I both used one of these hard core for over a year in a construction environment until I broke the ear loop on mine and moved on to the 510. Considering what we put them through, I have to say that this unit holds up. I compare headsets by pairing two of them, putting one in each ear and switching between them while on the same call. This lets me and the caller hear the difference. All in all, good price, easy to use, sturdy, and most people won't notice the sound quality. |

"GREAT for my Treo 700vw" | 2008-01-04 |

I tried about 4 different headsets for my Treo 700vw before finding this one. I have been using it for about 9 months and it is great. The only difficulty is remembering to answer the phone directly from the headset, otherwise the speaker on the phone is turned on. Which is good when you can't find your headset, because previous headsets would turn on even when I wanted to answer a call directly from the phone.
After my treo software upgrade, it became a little more difficult to pair the headset, but once it was recognized, I haven't had any problems.
I definitely recommend it. Very stable in the ear, light, sturdy, easy to switch ears and long talk life. I can usually go 2-3 days without charging it.
I don't know whether it's Treo's or just bluetooth headsets in general, but it took me months to find one that worked well. And this one has been great. |

| I had misplaced my other Plantronics 3XX Bluetooth Headset and ordered this one since it looked similar to the one that I really liked. Unfortunately, this headset would not consistently stay connected to my phone. Often, I would be talking on the headset then without warning my call would be on the speakerphone. (This occured when my headset was fully charge.) When I would attempt to reconnect to the headset my phone would state either there were no bluetooth devices detected or my phone would pick up other bluetooth devices in other people's vehicles (but not this one that was sitting beside my phone). On rare occations, the Plantronics 320 Bluetooth Headset would work fine, therefore I did not send it back for a full refund. |
