When I first purchased it in 2006, I asked my favorite sales rep at the Cingular store to recommend the most comfortable one they sold. He recommended the one he was wearing, the Plantronics Explorer 320. I took his word (he hadn't led me astray yet) and bought it. I haven't regretted the decision once.
I apparently am not the only one in my house that loves this little bugger. I've purchased 3 of them now, as my dog keeps getting hold of them somehow (no matter how high out of reach I seem to put them) and turning them into chew toys. But I keep coming back for the 320. It fits my ear perfectly. I can literally wear it all day with barely any discomfort. It syncs easily to every phone I've used it with. It picks up my voice just fine. I've been on the listening end, and you really wouldn't guess the speaker is using a headset.
The volume on calls could stand to go a little louder, as sometimes the person I'm talking to is a quiet speaker and I'm in a noisy place. You should also know that, since it's been around a few years, it doesn't have the bells and whistles of newer Bluetooth headsets, though I personally don't need them and thus don't care.
Now I'm getting ready to purchase my 4th, and odds are it will be another Explorer 320. No reason to mess with a good thing. |

Decent headset - Light, reasonably comfortable, very clear.
Range not as good as expected, but suited my needs for hands free in the car and within a 15X15 office.
- overall quite good except for the volume control which has minimal effect, if any, on the volume! |

| I enjoy this bluetooth and think it does the job well, but I also find it complicated...well, complicated for the tech challenged. The price was certainly right and it is reasonably attractive. I just wish it was easier to operate. |

| This headset is easy to use, has excellent sound quality, stays in my ear, and was simple to pair with my phone. My only complaint: weird connection with the charger cord. This is a big improvement over my previous (much more expensive) Jabra headset, which had lots of bells and whistles, but poor sound, wouldn't stay in my ear, and was difficult to pair with the phone. |

"Good sound but uncomfortable" | 2008-10-09 |

| First off, I'm not a fan of BT headsets but I got this one for free so figured I'd try it out. If you don't have the instructions on putting it in discovery mode to pair with your phone, check out plantronics website for a quick walk-through. So after getting it paired to my LG VX9100, I tried fitting it on my ear. Took a couple tries to find a somewhat working position. Really uncomfortable. I must have small ear canals because the speaker doesn't fit into my ear very well. I can hear others fine, a little static once in awhile, but people on the other end of the call say they have a hard time hearing me. Yet, the headset can pick up background noise quite well (my roomie was vacuuming two rooms over and the caller on the other end could hear it clearly). Don't even bother using it in slightly breezy conditions. Sound also breaks up in the car. Best used if you are too lazy to hold the phone to your ear, but that's about it. Maybe if you're cooking and talking on the phone at the same time? |

| It does get some static. But I've washed the thing in the washing machine 4 times and it still works great. I wanted a new one so I got a samsung hated it it kept falling out of my ear and the ear hook sucks. I love the 320's hook it rotates and its not a hard plastic and it just fits better so I've switched back. Also Ive used the 320 with a motorola nextel phone it worked horrible then I got the RAZOR with ATT works great. So sometimes its the phone. |
