| The product descriptions are accurate. This GPS is lightweight and wasy to use. I had some trouble mounting the actual screen onto the rotating mount, but after some force, it worked. I haven't used the bluetooth of voice-to-text capabilities yet, but the maps are accurate and the screen is clear. A good buy if you are looking for a basic, no fuss GPS. |

"Great Product for my move to a new city!" | 2009-06-28 |

This Garmin has been a lifesend for me. It helped me move from Iowa to California easily and has been great in helping me around the city of LA.
However, I have some major problems with this machine.
1. It doesn't tell me if I am going to be turning left or right if the next turn is over 1 mile away and there has been many times that it has made me miss a turn due to bad traffic.
2. It sometimes calls streets by a different name than is on the street sign and so I have missed streets that way as well.
3. It doesn't take the route that would avoid bad traffic. In LA the highways are always jammed but this GPS always puts me on these highways instead of the streets.
4. Doesn't sit on the dashboard!!In CA, it is illegal to have it on your window and so I have to put it on the dashboard but it doesn't stick to it so it always falls off which is a huge headache!!
Even though, I have these problems, I could not live without this GPS, it is great and well worth the money!! |

I've had it a week now and this is my first GPS..
Pros: Simple to use. Acquires satellites in 2 minutes or less. Unlike some other Garmin models the 360 comes with all the accessories you need.
Cons: I bought this unit primarily for its TTS feature and because I think taking your eyes off the road for even a few seconds is dangerous. The TTS works wonderfully and gives good directions with enough lead time. When you can hear it. And that's the problem with this unit. The volume (even on its highest setting) is too low to be heard above typical car noise levels. So, since TTS is my most desired feature, I'll be retuning it.

"Garmin Nuvi 360 - Great Device, very pleased" | 2009-06-23 |

I have been using the Nuvi 360 for about a month and so far cannot find much to complain about. The maps and directions are very acurate and easy to use. The bluetooth feature is outstanding. Find a restaurant from the menu, click dial, and you're on hands-free speakerphone. The menu system is easy to navigate - I never even opened the manual and I was using it without issue.
The mount system is very good. I used the adhesive disk to mount the suction cup on my dash vs windshield to get the speaker closer to me for hands-free speakerphone operation.
You will not be disapointed with this device! Great bang for the buck! |

| I purchased this because it had all the features I wanted, was a good price, and friends and family already had Garmin GPS systems. It is extremely good and easy to use. The only thing that puzzles me is why, when I want it to take me the fastest route, it sometimes takes me on a short detour from a larger road onto curvy farm roads that seem to slow me down. I'd really like to know why that happens. However, overall, this is a great product and I'm very happy with it. |

i received this for christmas last year. ive always wanted a navigation system, because lets face it sometimes the direction you get from people are wrong. (dont get me started on mapquest either!)
i use this for work, and ive never been lost. this is a godsend especially, on those expressway trips or those jaunts to the suburbs..where everything is backwards! ive used this in the REMOTE far Areas also and ive never had a problem . this was by far the best christmas present ive received in a while.
the navigation, is turn by turn in a crisp clear voice..the map is detailed and colorful but not overly cluttered. the best thing is if you make a wrong turn or stop someplace else..you get course corrections that get you back on your way in seconds.
it can even find for you restaurants, gas stations, and other places if your new to an area. i found this great little chinese place out in a quiet area in evanston that ive never heard of thanks to this.
is the garmin worth it? absoloutly! |

| I have been very pleased with this Garmin. I recently used it on a 12 hour road trip. It worked well navigating my route, even through construction areas. The only feature I wish that could change is the voice. I have only been able to find one voice in English. It is a female voice and it is very computerized sounding. This probably makes sense so it can provide turn by turn directions (naming streets/locations). I love that this is able to give exact turns though. It's a little pro/con about the device. Otherwise, overall, I love this GPS. IT came with the mount, carrying case, USB power cord. A lot of good stuff for a great price. |

I was pretty happy with the Garmin GPS. It was small and very portable. everything that it said it was. i really liked that it says what streets to turn on. however, i recently used it in st louis, mo and i have never been there. st louis is doing construction on one of its main major highways so there were many detours. The gps had problems recalibrating the detours, it wanted it us to get back on I-64 which was closed. that got really annoying having the gps talking to you all the time. and another thing was that when in the city, we went through a lot of small neighborhood streets instead of taking the main streets to certain places. that was extremely a nuisance since many of the side streets had 4-way stops.
All in all, it was really nice to have since we would have been lost if we didnt have it, but sometimes, nothing really beats a regular map. |
