"Best Personal Hair Trimmer I've tried so far..." | 2008-07-08 |

I've had this trimmer for some time. I was looking for something that had the flat trimmer specifically and found this at a decent price. The device has lasted a long time, hasn't needed sharpening (but then again, I don't have lots of thick hair), looks great, built nicely, easy to keep clean and has 2 interchange-able heads.
I am very glad to have this trimmer!

| Nothing to say good about this product. Save your money and buy regular small cuticle scissors. Of course get the kind with a rounded end. This product does not work. It is cute, comes with another trimmer type and both are useless. |

"Horrible product" | 2008-01-03 |

How I wish I had read the reviews here before buying. The trimmer simply did not work and, after three months, it's broken beyond repair. Believe me, I was super gentle with it as I paid way too much for it. Because I paid so much, I kept trying to use it. I adjusted it, switched the heads out, etc., but it never, ever worked correctly. The sideburn trimmer on my very old electric razor does a MUCH better job, sad to say. It's trimming capabilites are non-existent and it goes without saying that I expected it to last longer than three months.
Stay far, far away. I am extremely disappointed because Remington usually makes fine products. They struck-out with this one. |

"Doesn't work well due to blade configuration" | 2007-09-05 |

I had a Panasonic which I dropped in the sink. So the cover bent and effected the blade operation. I got this unit because I couldn' find another Panosonic at Walgreens or Walmart.
The blades ont he Panasonic unit are shaped differently. Hold your left hand up vertically, bend it over at you base knuckles to form a 90 degree angle. This is how much cutting surface you have with a Panasonic. The Remington has an active blade that only cuts the outside portion, not the top portion that Panasonic does with the different blade configuration.
This unit is not worth the $10 spent on it. Will get a newer Panasonic. |

"Doesn't cut close enough." | 2007-01-22 |

This product just doesn't cut my nose hair as close as the Panasonic it replaced. If I could remember the model of the Panasonic, I would mention it in this review. I hope I can find the manual for the Panasonic so I can get another one.
Beware that many of the new designs are going this rout (even Panasonic). The manufacturers are saying this allows for more natural filtration, but I think its more of a liability issue on their part (someone probably got sued for a nicked nose). I just won't buy their products anymore if they're going to design them for marginal performance. |

I bought this and it was fine, but it came after a week! I realised that it would have been cheaper in walmart as the shipping cost was greater than the cost of the item itself! |
