"Razor E300 Great Buy" | 2008-09-30 |

I read every review before buying scooter. With some hesitation, i proceeded with the purchase. What a great gift for a 10 year old boy. I opened it up the day before his birthday, checked the chain tension, charged it overnight / per instructions, and surprised my son with it the next morning. My son is 80 pounds and this thing screamed for what seemed to be more than 45 minutes with all his friends jumping on that morning to take a lap around the block. Some of the lighter kids were making me a little nervous as they we going pretty fast. We also have a steep driveway, only 15 yards long, but he makes it up no problem.
I, weighing 180 pounds, have taken it out for a spin. On flat surfaces it moves along fine though with some incline, I can see how this might get a lower than perfect review. On a full charge, and some momentum I can make it up the driveway as well.
I guess if you are an adult looking for a scooter, go with a Go-Ped or Segway. |

| Some days I think I must have received a lemon when I bought this scooter. It's amazing how well built it is for this price point. But, the battery life is too short for practical transportation. Still, it's a lot of fun. |

| I bought this for my sons 12th birthday. He had been wanting one for some time. I was amazed at how fast it can go. My only problem now is that I need another one for my other son. I would definitely recommend this product to others. I was able to assemble it with ease. My only negative comment is that there is no way to monitor how much charge is left. Overall it is awesome. |

| Scooter is fun but has tons of problems so doesn't work more then half the time. i have had to but 2 pairs of batteries, and two rear tires both of which are not very cheap. And,, requires a lot of maintenence . The chain pops a lot. If you really want it, be prepared to put work and money into it. Only suggest it for younger kids with a parent that knows mechanics! |

"My Son LOVES It!" | 2008-08-22 |

I was a little worried about the power and battery life after reading some of the poor reviews; however, I purchased the scooter because there were so many good reviews. I gave it to my son for his birthday (he really wanted a Sony PSP), and he loves the scooter. We have moderate size hills in our area, and the scooter has no problem climbing them at a fair pace. The battery lasted longer than I expected. It's a quality built scooter--very sturdy. It is easy to assemble and they provide the tools to assemble. The only thing is that the rear-wheel tire inflator extender is difficult to find. You have to pry the end of the right (throttle side) hand grip.
It has met my expectations, and when I asked my son if he wanted me to return the scooter and purchase a PSP, he smiled and said: "I didn't know about the scooter; I want the scooter!" NOW, I'll probably have to purchase another scooter for my daughter.

| Though this is a fun ride for the kids, we found that the battery tends to run out very quickly. We had one tire pop right after we purchased it when my son hit the brakes and it hit a little rock. I think they are well built, but they could do a better job with the battery so that the ride is longer. Also, when we got a new tire for the one that had bearing problems, and a new battery for the one that was completely dead...though under warranty they did not fix it. My husband was so frustrated and the one remains unfixed because changing out the tire is such a pain. They should send you somewhere to have repair done for free when under warranty...kind of stinks. |

| We bought this for our 8 year old son. It was a big hit and has held up to the last months beating. The battery starts off strong and holds its charge for a reasonable amount of time. The instructions claim 40 minutes on a full charge. It seems pretty accurate. I definitely think that getting the 300 gives you the best battery/power combination. The box says ages 12 and up but I think it is perfect for our 8 year old. Not too powerful but enough power that it is not laboring to get going while he rides it. I weigh 190 pounds and this scooter does a good job of pulling me around. I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a motorized scooter. Good quality... |

| I purchased the Razor E300 for my son's 13th birthday. I'd researched and read customer reviews from various websites on this and earlier razor models for several weeks before finally deciding on the E300. Despite a few negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. It arrived at my home the day before his birthday and we hadn't had time to charge it. When we removed the packaging, we found the product mostly assembled and only requiring minor adjustments. The E300 arrived fully charged and continued to work well past the estimated time. Its been about a month and so far we haven't had any problems and my son loves it. I purchased the razor knee and elbow pads and helmet because I was a little leary with this being his first motorized vehicle, lol. The speed has not been a problem, however, it goes the perfect speed for his age. I highly recommend it! |

| This thing is a blast! You will love it! It is much better than the 200. Spend the extra 40 bucks you will not be disappointed. Great range, drives well even with someone who is at the rated weight limit. This is a great product |
