The repeater works really well and eliminates the need to run wires from a south-facing window, but the range is not as far as advertised. At 20', it loses one bar of signal strength, compated to if the antenna was hooked directly to the XM radio. If I put the receiver in a cabinet 20' from the repeater, it does not work at all.

The Delphi XM repeater works exactly as it should. Install is as simple as plugging it in, and aiming the sat antenna (that you must already have from a home hit).

Truly plug-and-play design that was quick and easy. I didn't have to look at a guide to set this up; it was perfectly obvious. Now I can locate my XM radio in my home office "cave" and locate the XM antenna where the sun shines and there is a path to the signal coverage. I'll take this with me into the work office someday to have the benefit of XM where I sit - - well away from windows and satellite signals. I knew for a long time that I wanted this function, but couldn't justify the price until it dropped by two-thirds.

I am really glad that I found this item. I recently set up Xm radio in three rooms of my home. I could only pick up signal in one room, because it was the only room facing the proper direction. I purchased this and an additional antenna and now I can listen to the radio in all three rooms. My husband did have to play with where to set it so that we could pick up the best reception. Now and then, we do have trouble with static, but overall I am very pleased.

This product works like a charm. Easy set-up. I installed this item at my work so that I could listen to XM at my cubicle, so I installed the antenna and repeater in the South Facing Window nearest to me (in the break room). My cubicle is approximately a straight 70' away through two walls. The reception turned out excellent. It is a blessing to have XM introduced into my work place.

I opened the package, plugged it in and it worked great right from the start. It only took a minute to aim the antenna for the best reception. The satellite is on the back side of my house and my docking station is in the front area of the house. Signal is very stong, no problems whatsoever. I recommend it to anyone that prefers not to set up their docking station where the satellite reception it.

This product works well as designed. I work in a cube where i have to look up sunlight on the internet to remind myself. At my desk, I get no XM signal as you'd imagine. There are 2 parts to this product, a signal amplifier, and a signal receiver (which is also sold separately). Simply connect an antenna (not included) to the amp, then the receiver connects to the antenna port of the radio at my desk. I use a portable pioneer innio, and used the home docking station at my desk with the receiver plugged into that, and the amp is in a nearby conference room with the antenna from my home kit connected to it and propped in a window. My co-workers could get the receiver part only and connect to my amp with no setup at all as long as they were in range.

Saved me the trouble of snaking antenna cable across my house. Works perfectly. Full signal strength, no interference from/with other wireless devices. Granted, it's only transmitting a total of 15ft, but it solved the problem in my case. FYI: The existing antenna for my Delphi unit does NOT work thru double-pane thermal low-E glass. I had to mount it outside to get any signal.
