| I have owned this iPoD speaker system for 6 months and have been quite happy with its quality and convenience. The sound quality is excellent for its size. It is particularly convenient because it can be operated cordless (never used up all the battery supply yet) and is small enough to carry in one hand. I also like the fact that it charges my iPod. It came with several adapters to fit a variety of iPods. The appearence is sleek and unobtrusive. |

I have owned an MM50 for over a year now.
I had scoured the market to see what was available and found that a lot of the speaker docks out there certainly look cool. Bose, Klipsch, etc., but after having the MM50 for a while I realize that it is just as cool if not more so than the higher priced units. Seriously.
The MM50 is the ultimate in utilitarian design. A simple yet streamlined box sporting it's drivers and a dock for your iPod. Two simple fold out legs and a simple four button control not to mention it's multi function remote control. It's construction is solid. It's face/grille is a nice semi-gloss black perforated metal.
It's sound? Surprisingly good for such a small unit. I was impressed. Now remember, the whole idea here is portablity. Take a look at Bose or Klipsch and then look at the MM50 and think portability. The MM50 blows them away. Do the others sound better? Yes. Does the MM50 sound bad? NO!!!! The MM50 has a surprising volume level for such a small unit. It has great presence. Bright, clear sound. Turn on the spacializer and its even better.
Battery life is pretty good. I get about five to six hours at a low to moderate volume. If you use the spaciaizer it sucks away a bit more power and you might cut down to about four to five hours of use before needing a recharge. Yes, that's right. Self contained batteries. You can't change them. That's OK though.
One other point. I just recently bought and iPhone and I have found that this unit works flawlessly with my iPhone. NO GSM NOISE AT ALL!!!!
Also, the rear of the MM50 has a connection so you can use this as a flow through dock for your iPod and iPhone. It also charges your iPod or iPhone when docked. Not bad!
If you really want something PORTABLE for your iPod or iPhone buy the MM50. |

| This is my second of this model of speaker in the last few years. This specific model is the best thing out there for portable and amazing sound, in my opinion. You don't have to worry about cheap sound or weak battery with this thing! |

| I got this for my daughter's new video iPod and the sound works very well. As someone noted before, it seems odd that they would not make room for the AC adapter/charging unit in the travel case since you would have to take it along for any trip, but that is the only complaint. I would recommend it to you. |

| I went through two of these before I finally realized that Logitech should recall these speakers. A lot of people have reported that the battery does not hold a charge out of the box and after a about 2-3 hours, the unit wont turn on unless you plug it in. If you google "mm50 blinking red light" you'll see that many people have had similar issues. I finally just returned these for a refund. |

| We'll the reviews on the system were right. I love the clarity of the system. It's quite portable and you have to love the quality of the sound that comes from something that small. The bass booster is excellent! I've been listening to HaDag Hachash and "I'm a Brother" Good look Ram for the Jewish Music! The music sounds real nice and smooth coming from the system! I haven't had a chance to hook up rap hip hop or r/b to my IPOD but I'm sure it will sound nice. I usually travel with a Cambridge Sound Works C/D/player for my business presentation! Guess what not anymore I'm rolling with my MM50! A women friend of mine said this little things sounds real nice and it's portable. The price goes up n down on Amazon! I paid 49.00 for mine over the Easter Break I guess it was a sale. The downside of this unit ..........the power plug has to carried separately....if the battery runs down recharge before it goes out for good etc...other than that it's worth the money. One review stated u have to charge it once a week okay just do it and keep it moving! Get It Be Happy and if the price goes down again I'm getting one for my Boo! |

I love this little speaker sytem! Sounds great, not very expensive (I have a Bose SoundDock as well, which sounds better, but at a much higher price).
The only annoying things about this unit are that they legs always want to swivel back under the unit when you pick it up and tilt it at all, and that it doesn't come with a flip-up handle on the top for easier carrying. The travel pack also doesn't hold the AC power cord, which seems a bit odd - you have to carry that separately.
Overall, a great deal for the $! |
