| After reading other great reviews about this blender, I would whole-heartedly recommend this blender as well. It blends a terrific smoothie in no time and it mixed up delicious margaritas as well. Excellent quality --one of the best blenders I've owned! |

I love this blender--it makes our frozen margaritas and frozen coffee drinks in a flash! And the noise, well the person who said she needed earplugs while using it must be over-sensitive. Yeah, it makes noise, as you would expect a blender chopping up ice would, but it's nothing to make you jump through the ceiling. Try my favorite iced coffee drink: toss into blender in order: 2 cups of ice (I use the crushed ice from my freezer), enough skim milk to cover ice plus another 1/2 inch, about 1/4 cup non-fat half 'n half, 3 heaping teaspoons of instant coffee (regular or decaf), and about an ounce of sugar-free chocolate (or other) flavored coffee syrup (adjust amount to your tastes). Blend until smooth (use the pulse and allow air to surface every few seconds, as needed). This serves 2-3 people. A perfect drink for hot summer weather, and you can't tell that it contains instant coffee, non-fat dairy, and sugar-free syrup!
To clean up, just rinse out contents, add a drop of dish detergent and a couple cups water, blend, then rinse again. Voila! |

| I doubt you'll find a better blender for the money. After reading reviews I was worried about the cap, and noise. There's no way the cap on mine could get sucked into the blender. It's also very reasonably quiet. A slower or lesser power blender is going to beat the ice around. This blender gets the job done quickly! The toggle switch is nice. Pushing down offers a slower speed and up is faster. The blender is perfect for pulverizing frozen fruit and vegetables for smoothies. Add Greens Plus if you want a really healthy smoothie. I am so glad that I went with this purchase. This blender is a great way to get your children to eat their greens. |

| Works well. Crushes ice and makes drinks pretty well. It's better to push the toggle switch down which causes it to run at a lower speed. The liquid keeps moving and the ice crushes just fine. With the switch pushed up and the blender on, the blade spins at higher speeds which sometimes causes a thick drink to have an airpocket to form above the blade so nothing moves. Not the end of the world but causes one to either stir the slurry or jiggle the blender. |

This blender was great ... while it lasted, which turned out to be just 6 weeks! I don't expect to pay almost $80 for the privilege of using an appliance for 6 weeks. On top of that, I wrote Amazon's customer service to inquire about a refund or replacement and did not get a response to either of two emails I sent over a week's period. I finally decided to call and the person offered me a refund or exchange. I was originally wanting an exchange, but after coming back to this page and reading other reviews, hearing a couple that said even their replacement broke within weeks, well I figure I'm better off going to a local store to get a blender. It might still break, but at least I can walk back in with it to return it instaed of going through all this. The automatic refund processing center for Amazon doesn't work after 30 days and the blender wound up with a loose screw rattling around in it's base just 2 weeks past that deadline. This for a blender that was set on one counter out of the box and never moved more than an inch in either direction.
It seems the vibration of the motor itself is enough to shake it's internal screws loose, and since the loose screw is within the sealed portion of the base you can't possibly get to it to remove it. Defective product and I strongly suggest anyone think twice before purchasing it. Or just hope you're one of the lucky ones who gets a good one. |

| Got this to replace another new smoothie blender I just purchased and returned from different manufacturer. It does whatever you need a blender to do and then some. Very fast and effecient. So what if its a bit loud. If you need to blend something, they all make noise. Sturdy construction for which I expect many years of use. This replaces a 25 year old Osterizer that finally gave up the ghost. Hint: if you've got an older model Oster, don't throw away any of your cannister parts, they will probably work on this model as well then you have two pitchers, etc. |

Yeah, it's a bit loud but what a piece of work! I liked
it so much I bought one for my sister. I use it to blend vegitables and juice mainly but I think it would blend ball bearings if the glass wouldn't break. |

| Absolutely fantastic blender. Yes, it is a little loud but it is not like it is on for hours at a time - more like 10 to 20 seconds. This blender helps you attain a good consistency very quickly. We have made frozen mixed drinks, smoothies, milk shakes, etc. We have only had the blender for one month, so I cannot yet comment on longevity. Anything you buy can break, so I guess it how it works while you have it. We narrowed our choice to this and Waring, and since both blenders received great reviews we decided to save some money with this one. We think we made the right choice. |

| This blender is all I needed. Two speeds is plenty and simple for making milkshakes, smoothies, frozen drinks, etc. It is a tad bit loud but mixes quickly, so the loud sound doesn't have time to get obnoxious. I recommend it! |

| We bought this blender just to make fruit smoothies and it works great for that. The only negative thing about it, is that it is loud. But it gets the job done! |
