I love my Magic 8 Ball! It's so cool to play with it and my friends love it. The only con I've found are the small bubbles inside and sometimes the answer cube doesn't give any answer. It gets stuck on its edges sometimes and not on the plain side to give an answer. In general it's a great buy. Thanks Amazon!

It is fun for children to think of a question and then laugh at the answer that comes up. Adults like it too. Put questions on a piece of paper and put them in a draw. The "genie" with the towel around her head and too much jewelry on, rubs the eight ball and gives them their answer. It makes for a lot of laughter.

Little can be said to describe this product. It's a classic toy of fortune-telling. Mine predicted that Bush would (sigh) win the second term in office, so it may be telling the truth when you answer the question. It also predicted that Obama and McCain would win the primaries, and Obama would win the whole thing, but we'll see about that. It's on my desk, and words cannot describe how awesome it is. My only grudge? after a while, bubbles form inside the ball and obscure the view of the predictions. I know it was cheap, but I just wish that it was better built than to allow bubbles to form. Wait, does that mean there is a leak in the ball? Oh man. Quality control, Mattel, quality control!

I bought the Magic 8 Ball for my 10-year-old brother-in-law. I wasn't totally sure if he would like it or not, but he has been having fun with it. He and his friends take turns asking it questions and think of different ways to re-word their questions when they don't get a yes or no response. I was impressed that they were putting a lot of thought into their questions even though they know not to rely too heavily on the answers. I recommend this toy.

well the ink is a bit too blue and that makes the message hard to read. also the weight seems to be a tad lighter than the 8 -balls from long ago. NONETHELESS. my lady loves it. it's a fun thing to have around. I would its a good buy so as long as its under 7 bucks.

The Magic 8-Ball is really magic! I hope Mattel continues to update the 8-ball. I'm trying to get my hands on the Pink 8-Ball. A version made with dating in mind, this ball gives advice on love, romance and dating; it is often known as the "Magic Date Ball" or "Love Ball"

This thing is not very reliable. You can't trust anything it says. You ask it once, you get one answer. Ask it again, you get something different.

I teach and bought three of these to add a little fun to the classroom.It certainly did and it was great to see the faces of the children (and adults) as they asked their sincere questions and delight in the right answer or ask again if the answer didn't satisfy.I teach english to spanish children and this 8 ball really forced them to focus and speak as I had said it would only respond to English.A great toy.....but.....after six months,all three are now next to impossible to read as bubbles have appeared within the port hole and they seem to spawn at an ever increasing rate.Now it is no longer as effective and I now have to ask the students to try and decipher whats written.

I named my magic 8 ball reginald. I was 0riginally going to name it OverLord but, i thought it sounded too classy and allpowerful. so i named it reginald, cool, social, and ready to do battle with my toy laser cannon. i shall let reginald rule over all that dare enter my room.
