We all have fun playing this game. Takes a little thought for our 3/12 year old to match the color and then place the card appropriately to form the snake. Big excitement when he completes a snake.

ages 4 and up but my 3 year old can easily do this game and there aren't a ton of games that are great to play with a preschooler and not totally bore a mom in the process in my opinion...this one should be in every home with little ones!

we LOVE this game! we've probably played it 40 times since Christmas. I have 4 and 5 yo sons. They love being able to make really long colorful snakes and the "wild" rainbow pieces really make them excited. We practice counting, colors, and the "s" sound by saying "hisss" every time a snake has been connected. My boys have a speech delay and the s sound is difficult for them so this is a really great fun way to practice it too.

This game is easy to play (our 3 and 4 year old play it)
It is fun
The cards are quite thick and are not going to wear out
Its different every time you play it
I highly recommend this game if you have 3-7 year olds and are bored with the usual games.

If you're tired of Candyland and Chutes & Ladders, you should give Hiss a try! Nothing overly complicated, just good family snake building fun! You do need a little room to spread out the pieces, but it is also a great size game to take when traveling. Our family has game night once a week and all of us (Mom, Dad, 6 year old boy, 3 year old girl) love it!

My 3 year old son got this for Christmas, and it is now one of our favorite family games. We play on teams to make it more fun as we cheer for our team mate. We play boys versus girls, kids versus parents, kids versus mom. A great game for preschoolers that the whole family can enjoy playing!
