This is an excellent toy that has longevity. They can start out simply drilling and work into more creative designs. My son really loves it!

My 4-year-old son is seeing an occupational therapist to improve his fine and gross motor skills. She had this toy in her office and he loved playing with it, so we bought it for him. It's a lot of fun and also helps to improve fine motor skills

My grandson is almost three and he loves this toy. At this point, he just wants to screw the bolt in and then take it out, over and over again. He had no trouble learning to use the forward and reverse button on the drill. He also likes to use the screw driver and the wrench. As he matures, I am sure the design cards will provide lots of fun. Although this was not a cheap toy, I think it is well worth the price because there are many levels on which it can be used. I know my six and eight year old grand daughters will love replicating the designs. All in all, a very edcational toy!

We gave this drill to my daughter for her 3rd birthday and she loves it! She quickly got the hang of the forward and reverse functions, and could easily work it herself. I can tell she'll be using it in different ways as she grows, making patterns and grouping colors. But for now, this is a great toy to help her coordination and motor skills. Love it!!

My two and five-year-old boys love to play with this. My youngest just loves drilling in and out, but by oldest uses the pictures and makes designs. This toy is also very durable. This is a great toy for boys!

Design and Drill is fantastic. I bought it for my 3 y/o niece and she loved it immediately. Not a great toy for a group of children playing together because everyone wants to play at once, but a FANTASTIC toy for individual use. Definitely recommend it.

This play set is wonderful! It is easy to use and entertaining for preschool to early school age children. While kids are having fun playing, they are improving their fine motor skills and patterning. They can be creative with their own designs or learn to follow one of the included pattern cards. The set includes 3 bits for use with the drill or screwdriver handle and 5 different colored large screws. The drill has forward, off, and reverse settings and makes drill sounds at a reasonable volume. Overall a great buy.
