I bought this product for my husband... also ordered a hotsling but my husband and I have a big size difference so we can't share one sling... And he honestly told me that he would prefer Babybjörn... Soon as I received the item, I studied it and thought to myself that it would actually be something for me too since it's very flexible and very well adjustable! It's a very good buy!!!

My baby is now 20 pounds and my back can't take carrying her in the original anymore - even a short trip to the grocery store was getting too much. The lumbar support makes a big difference (for some reason for my upper back mostly), but still a bit sore in the traps on long walks. She loves it, and the front flap stays down great, in contrast to what another reviewer said. I did notice I have to tighten it quite a bit for the back support to work, but don't even notice it once we get going. I am 5'7 and 140 if that makes a difference.

This is a great carrier when your baby is small, and it seems comfortable for the little ones as well. After my twins hit about 27 pounds, I switched to the Ergo carrier, which I like a lot too. The Ergo can be used as a front or back pack. The Bjorn is fantastic for when they are under 27 pounds, and it leaves your hands free to shop, etc. I highly recommend it.

This is my second Bjorn. I can't believe I thought this was a Swedish product. Talk about false advertising. My poor baby has licked so much of this....how awful! We have really tried to rid our home of made in China baby products. It's not easy.
I think it's really shameful that Bjorn pretends it's a Swedish product. Imagine the fat margins on this product!! It's about the same price it was 10 years ago when it was made in Sweden.
By the way, my son is 18 lbs and after 20 minutes or so, this carrier hurts.

I bought this item when my daughter was born, and now cannot imagine our life without it! She stops crying as soon as she is in the carrier as she likes to be carried upright and we use it daily to soothe her when she is crying AND when we go out. So easy to use and I like color too. Would definitely recommend it to any new parent!!

This has saved me so many times. Have you ever been home alone and your little one will not let you put them down so you can do some essentials around the house???? This has been a lifesaver for those situations. I have been able to water my plants, fold laundry (takes a bit more time when he grabs the clothes I'm folding), make dinner, clean bottles, etc. The key is to start them early so they get use to being in the carrier. My son has never had an issue with being in it, he really loves it b/c I think he feels like he can see more and be apart of what is going on. I'm not sure if the back support really supports your back, it doesn't seem any different than others I have tried.
