| We could not live without this. We traveled a lot with our daughter when she was between 4-10 months and this was essential for carrying her around airports to keep her safe and our hands free. |

I haven't tried another brand or used it much, when I start using it more my opinion might change. When I do use it, it seems I have to take it completely apart for me to get it on correctly. A lot of straps to mess with, I understand that it is for my own comfort but a little annoying. I do like how snug my baby is. I like the option of him facing towards or away from me. I also like how it doesn't seem strenuous on my back to have him in the carrier. It's great for me to have him in it while I'm vacuuming or other house work.

| What can I say, if you love to take your baby for a stroll in the neighborhood or hike a short trail where stroller can not access, This is the solution. My baby is so comfortable in this thing and she can do whatever she like. When she is ready to graduate into the front forwarding position, it gave her great pleasure being able to investigate the surroundings. She can also fall in sleep in it. This tells you how comfortable it is. |

| I tried a cheaper carrier before using this one. This brand is worth the extra cost. I could barely get him in the other carrier by myself ($35 carrier, don't recall the brand). With the baby bjorn I can easily slide him in on my own. It's also easier to get him back out of, too. It's very well designed. Easy to use. Comfortable for me. Comfortable for the baby. I paid $50 for the blue one, and am very satisfied. Highly recommend at this price. (If this color isn't available, it might still be worth $80 or so, it's pretty good!). |

"great carrier, dont waste your money on a cheaper brand!" | 2008-01-03 |

| This is a great carrier! I was very tempted to buy one that was made by another company for 1/2 the price, but I'm so glad I didn't. This is very easy to use, made well, comfortable for me and baby, totally adjustable to custom fit you and your baby, etc, etc. Even my husband who is a "gear guy" thought that this was a great carrier. I would highly reccommend this baby carrier, and pretty much any other one by BabyBjorn for that matter. Buy this one, you wont regret it, and you'll save yourself the hassle of returning a cheaper alternative! Plus, Amazon has a great price, no tax and free shipping. I'm very happy! |

The product is good and does the job it promises in terms of features. Baby likes the body warmth and sleeps well in it.
The thing we are asking ourself's after we bought it was, how much do we need it. We dont walk around too much outside the house and have used it twice in the last 4 weeks for less than 2 hours.
We bough it because we wanted to use it in a flight trip abroad, but one of the major things that i missed analyzing was if it could be worn both in sitting and standing position for continuous use. The answer is no, you cant sit down with the baby in it, it is meant for a standing position. I dont see my baby in it for too long if i have to stand all the time and not take short sitting breaks without causing him discomfort or pain? |

I tried out another infant carrier before buying this one because I was trying to save some money. That was a big mistake. The other carrier was bulkier and the straps were nylon which constantly made the carrier slip down in the front because of the weight of the baby. I had to continually pull the straps back or push the baby up to get it to lay the way it was supposed to.
The Baby Bjorn is very easy to use and not at all bulky when wearing it. The padded straps are extremely comfortable and because they are covered with the same fabric as the rest of the carrier, they stay securely on my back and shoulders as they are intended to. The carrier fits snugly and comfortably around my 6-week-old and she falls asleep every time she is in it.
If I were to have one complaint it would be that there is nothing separating your chest from the baby's face for a forward facing infant. This means that whenever they spit up it's going to be all over your shirt. I always place a folded up cloth diaper between her head and my clothing to take care of this problem.
This carrier is expensive, but having tried another I would recommend the Baby Bjorn with confidence. It's definitely worth the money.

| When our son was just born, sometimes the only thing that would calm him down was being in the bjorn - perhaps because the movement mimicked the womb. My husband would put him in this and either walk up and down the stairs, or hop on the treadmill - and it would calm our son right down and usually put him to sleep. Now he faces out and loves it! |
