| This base is easy to adjust. However, if you have a car with leather seats it is difficult to secure the base. With the use of a non slip rug mat between the seat and base along with a cut up noodle (yes the ones you use in the pool) it was secure. I learned this trick from a fireman who installed the car seat for my 2 year old. |

| I bought this base for my nephew's car seat. I keep him in my home and drive an older car without latch hooks. This base has a locking mechanism that works with the seatbelt to completely secure the base/seat. It will not move once this locking feature is secured. And I feel so much safer with this in my car than the older models I used with my own kids. This thing is great! |

| Great base to an almost perfect car seat. The base itself is very easy to take from one vehicle to the next and it's very secure once it's locked in place. I love how it's adjustable by the turn of a knob rather than having to separate two pieces of plastic (cut/pinch hazard) for height control. The base is very sturdy and holds the car seat well. My only gripe is that of the size of the car seat itself, that thing is HUGE compared to others! As for the base, I'm very satisfied with the purchase, and would gladly buy another one if I had another vehicle. |

| Makes it so easy to transfer kids for the night or weekend. Car seat just stays hooked up in my car all the time. Only reason not 5 stars, is it rattles without the weight of the car seat/baby in it, so have to put something weighted in it. |
