This heats up really fast. I like the small size. The only thing I don't like about it is the heat is so hot I feel like it's damaging my hair. Overall, I like it, I just run it through my hair really fast.

This flat iron does a good job. It heats quickly, straightens quickly, is narrow and easy to work with. I have not had it long enough to say how durable it is though.

I was skeptical due to its size, but I am so glad I gave it a try!! I have been using a Conair ceramic one with 2 inch plates, but it is difficult to handle and pulls hair out. This one is perfect! The size is actually a PLUS because it is so easy to use! I have long,layered hair, and I can run it through faster than with the 2 inch. I can get right next to the scalp with no problem. It just glides through and the corners are rounded, so no pulling hair out. The multiple heat settings are a bonus. Overall, it is designed perfectly! Also, I read many reviews on Chi and it apparently shorts out pretty easily. So, why spend the extra $$? I highly recommend this iron.

I bought this flat iron on recommendation from my personal hair stylist. It is the one she uses in the salon. It is the first flat iron I have ever purchased or used. I love it!! It does not get too hot, has never singed my hair and was also very economical. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this iron to others.

This is my 2nd CT2555. The first one lasted about 6 years and was so sad when it stopped working. I hunted to find another one. Well worth the little extra money! I am so happy to have found another one.

This was bought as a gift for a college student. She absolutely loves it! I mean LOVES it. It does exactly what she wants it to do and she has semi-fine to medium hair. She sets it for what she needs and it does what she wants it to.

I've had this flat-iron for 4 years and have loved the results. Although it does not compare to the expensive professional iron's, like the sapphire or chi, it is perfect for daily use. I have wavy hair that frizzes easily, but this iron has tamed my hair for years. After 4 years, I've had to replace it with another one, but considering I use it daily (sometimes more than once), it's a great iron for the value.

My hair stylist (who I adore!) uses this straightener and I had to get it. Unfortunately my uncle was rushed to the hospital and I couldn't shower for over a week since I was always at the hospital (gross I know), but my hair looked like it was just straightened 7 days later! This is truly amazing. I can't recommend a better straightener.

As an African American woman with coarse hair, this was the first flat iron I've ever used to straighten it. This flat iron gets very hot, but I was unable to get very close to the roots and the ends of my hair were very frizzy after using it. I still had to use a hot comb to touch up these areas.
