| The ONLY reason I selected this vendor was because it specifically states 'Motorola Packaging' in the description. The packaging is a generic plastic case with the merchandise shoved in UPSIDE DOWN for display and the earpiece itself in a ziplock bag inside the casing. As I said, the only reason I purchased from this vendor is because I wanted to make sure it had a brand name look - the real packaging from Motorola, etc. because this was to be a gift in a few days for our son. Now I'm faced with having to go somewhere and purchase a nice looking gift and demanding a refund. As I said, save yourself the headache and DO NOT purchase from this vendor, do not be fooled by the "Motorola Packaging" - there's nothing on it that says Motorola - all it states is Universal Bluetooth Headset - and that it's compatible with Motorola. |

| I've used a wired headset from Plantronics with various cell phones over the years. Have tried blue tooth headsets before, but the sound quality (particularly for those on the other end) was inconsistent. This headset works very well. Easy to use, and while there's a bit more background noise than the wired headset, not getting tangled up with the cord while moving around is a real plus. Also, with the boom folded up it fits nicely in a pocket so I don't have to wear it around like some cyborg. |

| Although I bought this bluetooth headset for a trip to CA, since there's currently no laws requiring hands-free devices for cell phones in my resident state, I haven't had much time to really use it. But the little that I did, I found it very easy to install to my cell phone and use to talk with. Never did make calls with it, but that wasn't my intended use. Had very good voice quality and no static or reception problems. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced bluetooth headset.Motorola Bluetooth Headset H700 |

Good sound quality and, usually, solid connectivity. Small, light, and reasonably comfortable. Personally, I had used ear-bud style wired headsets before this one. I found them more comfortable than the around-the-ear style headsets. But this one is far more comfortable than others that I have tried.
Like any Bluetooth device I've ever used, sometimes it oddly loses signal. But with this device, it is very easy to close and reopen the mike to initiate a reconnection cycle. I've never had an issue that this doesn't solve. I also like that I can very easily go from the headset to handset by closing the mike boom. |

| I purchased this due to the laws enforced in chicago where you must use a handsfree while driving, and i'm sorry i picked this one. I get nothing but complaints from whomever i am talking with. I almost always have static also, i can have the phone on my lap and still have static. I never have the phone far from the bluetooth. It's a pricey little bugger too! So one would assume the quality would be good, but its not. I also work for a retail cellular company and i see this headset returned over and over. Also many of my associates have the complaint about this product. If you want great sound go get your self a jawbone headset!! |

Best money I have spent in a long time on an electronic device. I leave this thing on my ear so much that it has become another appendage. My wife even has a name for it. She calls it "BT". When I first used it, people couldn't hear me very well, but then I figured out that you have to make sure it's "installed" properly on your ear. Get it on there nice and snug! It works better that way. Motorola claims it is resistant to wind noise but I don't really think so. The best trick I've learned is to cup your hand over the headset and block the wind. (The mic pics up your voice from your jaw bone not your mouth.)
Other features that I really like about it: cool light that changes color based on level of charge (Red->Yellow->Green), blue light that blinks when it is on and connected to your phone (it looks really cool at night like you're Buck Rogers or something), super long battery life, compact folding style, extremely reliable and pairs easily with phone.
Negatives: as I mentioned wind noise filtering is not great but I have a work-around for that; range away from phone is not very far (10 ft realistically)
I highly recommend this device. I found it on [...] in a retail box. The value of the product greatly exceeds the price I paid for it, so I am extremely satisfied! |

I never used bluetooth set before, but I am happy with H700 that I purchased.
Be very carefull about buying from E-bay. If it is too cheap, it could be a fake one. There are lots of fake motorola H500 and H700 sets in Ebay. Do your google search 'fake motorola bluetooth h700' You will find lots of complaints from the people who bought a fake set. It also tells you how to tell the difference. I almost returned my H700 I got from Costco, when I first found out that it's much cheaper on ebay. Then I noticed that most of those sets under $30 on ebay are not real ones.
I decided to keep mine and am very happy with it. What I know is, fake ones perform so bad (static noise, short range, etc) that you cannot even use it. I am wondering about those people who left one or two star ratings here. Where did they buy their unit ? Do they know that they might have a fake one ? Flip the plastic earhook the other way . If you don't find word "MOTOROLA " , no serial number or a little check mark symbol in the back (just below the speaker), it's a fake one !!

I won't say I am 100% happy with this puppy: it took a number of attempts on my own and a trip to the nearest T-Mobile store to get it to like my Blackberry Pearl. But finally, after the two of them get along well with each other, I am a happy camper.
My only complain now: seeing how I can find a number of less expensive options in Amazon, within days of having purchased this one. I feel inclined to return it... It's not like I am attached to it by now. |
