"Best little bluetooth on the market" | 2008-10-04 |

| This superlight, unobtrusive headset, works more reliably than the new noise cancelling sets, etc.... no comparison. And the listener on the other head, often thinks I'm on a land line.br /I have sent two of the new Jawbones back. They just don't have the technology down to work properly.br /The only bad part of the X-10, is the ear hook, whose tabs that hold it on the earpiece, break off very easily. This headset need tender loving care.br /The charger though, is great, and simple to hook up. Much better than all the other chargers. AND they provide a USB connection charger. |

"Buy a jawbone instead..." | 2008-08-05 |

I'm returning this headset.
The sound quality is no better than any other (less expensive) headset I've worn and the earpiece barely fits in my ear.
The earpiece connects to the headset with a large plastic square that pinches my ear, making it uncomfortable to wear.
If my phone is more than two feet away from the headset (in my pants pocket), I get static.
Although the power connection looks like a standard mini-usb plug - it's proprietary and can only charge this headset. It won't charge my phone and my phone charger won't charge this headset.
I owned a Jawbone before this and had much better success with that. I'm going to spring for the Jawbone Bluetooth Headset with NoiseAssassin-Black (Jawbone II) instead. |

"The best one I've had so far..." | 2008-08-04 |

I've had a few bluetooth headsets over the past few years, and this is easily the best one I've used so far.
The main talking points have already been covered to death, so I'm just going to give you a couple of reasons why I love it.
First and foremost, it pairs to two devices. Most headsets will only pair to one device, so if you want to switch between devices, you have to re-pair it every time. In my case, I have the headset paired to both my Motorola Q and my Playstation 3. Whichever device I am using at the time, the headset will automatically connect to that device.
The sound quality is excellent, and the range is far greater than any other headset I've used.
So there it is. It may not be a ten page review with all the Jabra specs pasted in, but that's how I feel about the thing. :-)
In the oft-repeated words of mothers everywhere, "Try it. You'll like it." |

I've owned the JX-10 for over a year now, and am very pleased with it. The size, comfort, and quality of sound is great.
I've tried multiple bluetooth headsets with the iPhone, and this is the only one that I have had that is static free on my end. |

"Useless after six months" | 2008-01-27 |

I'll concentrate on the reasons why the Jabra has been useless to me after just a few months, but first I'll mention that I really liked the headset when it was still working ok - small, stylish, good quality. It has a few design flaws though, especially the stylish stand - it is difficult to hook it up, you have to fumble; and the tiny buttons (pairing button is only for people with fingernails).
The major weakness is the little ear piece. When you switch the side from time to time, you have to pull it off and it becomes unusable after a while because the claw like attachment widens - then it simply falls off and won't stay in place anymore.
To make matters worse, mine also doesn't pair anymore, no matter what device I try. It has become useless. |

| I have owned other Jabra headsets and when I bought my RazorV3 I decided to pay the higher price for the JX-10. No doubt the best looking headset around but my experience trying to be understood while in a brand new top of the line mini-van was very disappointing. Jabra replaced it once, but with the same results. The new earloop is much better though. I tossed the expensive looker in my drawer and went back to my old BT-250, which just ran out of battery life. Will probably not look at Jabra since the old BT style is too clunky. |

"Great sound, easy to wear, but unreliable" | 2007-11-09 |

I have used the Jabra JX-10 for 3 years. I bought 3 in that time: the original, a replacement when I lost that one, and a third one for my wife. The sound quality is excellent. The JX-10 is extremely light, to the point that I often forgot that I was wearing it. It paired easily with my Blackberry and with various cell phones that my wife had. My main complaint was that the earband breaks VERY easily. Over the 3 year period, I broke at least a dozen. Until recently, I would have given this product a 4-star rating.
However, in October 2007, having just lost another one, I ordered a replacement. I could not get it to charge. I returned it, and the second replacement would not charge. I tried several chargers at several different locations over a 10-day period, to no avail. (I even verified the chargers by charging my wife's JX-10.) I returned it for yet another one, and that third one had the same problem. Jabra customer service claims that they have had no reported problems, but recommended upgrading to the more expensive JX-10 II. I have not done so. I regret not having the JX-10, but I cannot justify trying a fourth replacement. |

"A piece of junk" | 2007-09-14 |

| I purchased this to replace an old Jabra that I used and liked. This model though broke within a day of when I purchased it. The ear piece just broke in two (which seems to be common, it broke as I picked it up). They offered replacements for free on their website, so two weeks later when they arrived, I put the replacement ear piece on, and then was disappointed with the range of the JX-10. If you have the JX-10 more then 12 - 15 inches from the phone, your call starts breaking up. I wear my phone on my belt, and in every call I receive static. Save your money and purchase a better headset. |

"Jabra does not have a repair service." | 2007-08-28 |

Guess what? If you buy this product, you have one year to use it. Then when it breaks, throw it out! That's the official word from Jabra. Let me quote:
Thank you for contacting Product Support.
Jabra does not have a repair service. The only remedy we have for non functioning headsets is replacement, if the headset is within the one year warranty. We do require a copy of the receipt to be sent back with the product.
-----
Thus, when my headset stopped working and would no longer take a charge 16 months after purchase, my options were to (a) throw it out, or (b) throw it out.
