Works well in my 97 civic. Good quality. Sounds like you are listening to your favorite radio station. Does not drain battery up to fast. I usually set my ipod in my cup holder, change holder, or on my speed console and my reception doesn't suffer. Does not work as well in my KIA minivan, but that still has a stock radio in it. My one complaint is the directions I got sucked, so I had to figure it out myself. Here's a big step. When you find the compatable station you want, you have to push the switch in for several seconds to lock it. Otherwise it goes back to it's preset station. Also. For some reason. I have to hit play, and plug into my ipod once or twice to turn it on. I did buy mine used, so it could be just mine. Great deal for the used price (under $10) with shipping.

Just wanted to comment on this product. I have had a few FM transmitters for the Ipod but none as durable as this one. I accidentally sent it through the washer and drier and it still works. Granted the covers came off in the process but it is still functional. The one problem with it (but I have had this challenge with all FM transmitters) is the range is not always good. I will have to change the channel a few times to get one that works.

It works pretty good, even overpowering some sketchy stations, but I have to have it within 1 foot of my receiver to get a perfect signal, if it's farther than that there's a little static, but not bad.

Bulky and doesn't fit with a case on the iPod touch. Very low range - needs to be right next to the radio or antenna to work. However, it is easy to use.

I have been pleased with this product, with a minor exception. It is difficult to get it to power up when first connected. It usually takes several attempts to get it to turn on. With that being said, once you get it on the first time if you keep it connected it will power up everytime you turn your iPod back on. All in all this is a great product for the price you pay.
