| It's summer break, so I'm reviewing obscure pieces of entertainment scattered about my room. Prison Break is amazing. I'm in season 2 and I can't stop watching. Because we're dealing with prisoners, it's very hard to tell who's good, who's bad, and especially who's going to die. It's basically bad guy vs. bad guy, seeing that the police and FBI are equally as evil as the convicts...so, basically, you're constantly being surprised by twists and turns. It's well acted and violent as hell. Enjoy! |

Just Superb.
The Most Intense Show ever.
Owning it on DVD is crucial because Commercials and having to wait for the next episode is unimagimable in this nail-biting episodic.

| You won't be disapponted, great plot, great action, great acting. Superb suspense. This show is So addictive!!!.. Definetely a must see for good television series fans. I was resilient to watch it because of the jail story, thought it was going to be depressive...how mistaken I was, now I can't get enough... Please hurry with the release of season 4!!!! ...it's so hard to stop watching one episode after another, it makes your heart beat so fast!! it is so intriguing and exciting. But you must watch every episode from episode 1 ... keep in mind that all episodes are important. |

| This has to be the best show I have ever watched in my entire life. Reading peoples 1 and 2 star reviews made me realize how critical people have to be. I think if your looking for a show that can keep your attention and keep you guessing, this is where you want to begin. Season 1 of Prison Break was FANTASTIC! |

This is a great new series with exciting twists and turns, a great plot, some mind-blowing episodes, and the highlight, truly fabulous characters played by even better actors! This show prides itself on it's excellence in acting. People like Peter Stormare ("John Abruzzi") and Robert Knepper ("T-Bag") are pure genius here. All their scenes together, in my opinion, are the best. However, the overall story of Michael Scofield breaking his brother, Lincoln Burrows, out of jail is a bit ridiculous (but that's okay!) and gets a bit old sometimes. Some scenes where the PI group is just digging gets a tad boring, but not overly. The standout episodes in this collection are:
1.06 "Riots, Drills, and the Devil" (Part 1) - It's so intense and suspenseful. Just a really fun and exciting episode that makes you love the series.
1.14 "The Rat" - It's execution time and this is where the Lincoln/Michael/Veronica/LJ story really shines. These characters are the main ones but never get as much love as the other prisoners, but they really are awesome here.
1.16 "Brother's Keeper" - Why did all these people go to jail? Well, you find out...NOW.
1.21 "Go" - It's the episode that we've been waiting for all season long and it does not disappoint with suspense, twists, and great character moments! (as well as a death!)
1.22 "Flight" - The season finale showcases Veronica finally uncovering a huge piece of the puzzle for The Company and the Fox River 8 on the run to an airplane. Will they make it? Awesome, awesome. |

| This show is absolutely awesome. Very suspenseful with great writing and acting. I just don't know how they are going to sustain it for the coming years! I highly recommend this show to anyone who is looking for a great show to watch during the summer when nothing good is on. Now I just have to finish season 2 and 3 before September! |

It's well done. The acting and production quality is good. What made me give it only 2 stars is the impossibility of what happens with almost every twist and turn in a plot that zig zags till it makes you dizzy . Its the script writing. It's written to be in the same genre as "24" but not as good. (I have problems with "24s" impossibility as well but I've known people to think that what happens in 24 is possible!) It's like the writers have consumed buckets of Red Bulls and Starbucks coffee and perhaps other drugs and they start making you feel the same way too. They also insult your intelligence with mostly stupid ways of getting out of impossible situations - at least lets have some real clever ways! If your looking for a good Prison series I think OZ is much better.
To be fair, there are a few clever solutions in the dozens of ones needed. I did watch the whole thing. I work at a a job where I have a lot of free time and a escapism TV series dvd is what I was looking for. So I did escape into a alternate universe where things happen at a freaky pace, where conspiracy theories involving the US government are mixed with prison life and the plot has so many holes anyone should be able to break out.... Just don't think too critically while watching it and it might hold you captive for a little escapism. |

| I am not one to watch things like this normally, but once I started watching it I couldn't stop. This TV show has an amazing plot that is full of adventure and and action, but also has intellect. Prison Break is much like the movie The Shawshank Redemption. The actors are great, the story is great and you get completely sucked in. I would recommend this to anyone who likes an intelligent TV show. |

| This is by far one of the most unique and brilliant shows to come along in a very long time. The cast is amazing. What would seem like a simple concept is developed in an elaborate and creative way. The story draws the viewer in to the point that you CANNOT turn away. The characters are dynamic and engaging in every aspect. This is a series that could go the distance as one of the finest EVER. |
