| It's Ok for the price. Works with Dellx50v/ Razer3/ SE/ .. br /skips for second in few places (e.g. near NY PATH) but generally works fine in train, etc. Will shop for Lubix UBHS-LC1/Sonorix C3/.. something I could put on the belt/pocket/etc., view caller ID, can use in YMCA (in 620s it gets to hot) in all other ways it's good for ~30$ stereo BT |

Product feedback: This is a great product. It looks really cool and sounds very good. The controls are simple and intuitive.
The only drawback is that quality of the microphone when using the Jabra as a handsfree device. People on the other side have often said I sounded a bit weak/hard to hear.
I bought it to listen to music from my blackberry as well as audio for movies on my laptop. It works wonderfully for both. I have worn it for 3-4 hours straight with hardly any discomfort.

The benefits: The sound out of the BT260s is good, considering the cost for a bluetooth headset, and other people tell me that the mic is good when I used it with my phone.
The drawbacks: 1. Since the earpieces are heavy, it digs into my ear and starts to be painful after using it a while, and if I move it off the top of my ears, the supports dig into the side of my head, which is also painful. Really difficult to find and keep a comfortable "sweet spot." 2. I found that it was hard to remember the controls after a couple weeks. Obviously, the volume control and skip control are easy. However, remembering what turns it on, what starts/pauses, what pairs, what starts a call, etc., was harder to remember. I had to pull out the manual. 3. The big blue lights on the sides really want to flash. I can turn them off, but they seem to want to turn back on whenever I power the headset on or move it to a different device. It's bright and obvious, and it's attention that I really don't want. 4. It might be my imagination, but it seems that sometimes the BT620s compresses the sound so that the frequency goes up when I first have it on and start playback. It's only when I just start playing music, but it's annoying because it distorts the sound. This is an effect that I hadn't noticed on my previous headset.
I gave the BT620s a chance. I went back to my old one for a while, and then I tried the BT620s again. It's just too uncomfortable and the sound wasn't an improvement over the one that came with my laptop. |

The Jabra BT620s headset has been a very worthwhile purchase for me, and I highly suggest it for the casual music-listener who has an mp3-compatible cell phone. The headset is well-constructed and easy to use.
Pros:
-The sound quality is above average, with excellent bass. The microphone has good sound quality as well.
-The battery life is sound--it takes almost a week of use before it needs charging
-The control scheme is simple and intuitive. Playing music or answering an incoming call is simple. A five year old could learn to use it.
-It connects easily to my mp3 cell phone. Also works for online gaming on the ps3.
-The price is very good. This headset works well and is only about $30. Unless the most excellent audio quality is essential, why pay $150?
Cons:
-Occasionally, the headset won't be recognized right away, or the connection will fail the first time. This isn't a recurring issue, though.
-The buttons on the side of the headset are easy to press. If it is not stored so that the buttons are shielded from accidental jostling, it is very easy for them to be turned on, lowering battery life.
-Though I didn't investigate further, my computer wouldn't connect with this headset. It may be my computer--but it might not be.
Altogether, I am thoroughly happy with this product. |

| I bought this yesterday and used it after charging. Pairing was very easy and once my music was on my Blackberry it played instantly. Sound quality is very good. I like the extra bass as some of these headsets sound flat. I am going to use this mainly for running so this will be nice. I have a smaller head and this fitted well but after 1/2 hour or so it starts to feel a bit tight. I think I will get used to it. I didnt like the flashing blue lights but you can turn it off. It would have been nicer with a small led instead. The music did cut out sometimes but repairing fixed it. |
