I first did the tests at the end of every chapter for a baseline on my knowledge. I also did the two games with the pieces of paper in the book several times to gauge improvement. Then I read this book carefully once all the way through and did all the activities. This took me about 3 months. Then I read it again, about a quarter of the way through, and skimmed here and there. I bought the PM FASTrack v6 program by the author, and did 10 questions here and there several times, and did 200 questions all the way through once, and I passed that simulation. Then about a month later I reviewed the book again, just skimming here and there, especially formulas and parts I knew I was less confident on. I took the PMP test today, and I passed it and felt really confident while I was taking the exam.
I plan to read this book several more times to fully understand the material! Thanks Rita!
I'm studying this book now and it seems like a good resource. Other PMs recommended this book to me.
The Amazon discount price is fine.
What is nuts are the prices for used books and the prices posted on Amazon by other vendors; some even more than twice as much as the list price of $99.
I have seen other vendors listing this book for well over $200 and several for around $150. Right now the lowest used book price (lowest $67.73 + $3.99 shipping/handling)is higher than Amazon's discount price ($62.37) for a new copy. So buyer beware.

Product of choice for preparing to be a PMP. I use this extensively while training and menotoring people preparing to take the PMP exam. Questions are excellent and most closely mimic the real exam.
What can I say? No prep course, no online tutorials, no outside help. I purchased this book and studied like a madman for a week. Passed the test 2 hours ago :) Way to go Rita!
