All I can say is that bread machine is great: I use it almost every day. I tried lots of different recipes and have always been pleased with the results.I also used the "gluten free" recipes and setting to make bread for a friend with ceoliac disease : he loved it!
My family particularly loves the "delay" feature: I prepare the ingredients before going to bed at night and in the morning we have freshly baked bread for breakfast: just the perfect way to start the day!

"Breadman TR875 breadmaker" | 2008-09-20 |

| I had a similar Breadman breadmaker for many years. I used it a lot, and was extremely satisfied with it. I actually overused it over the many years and realized last spring, I had to consider replacing it (a few small pieces inside had fallen off, but the machine continued to bake good bread). I was sad and spent a lot of time online reading reviews to help me decide which breadmaker I should purchase. The reviews on the TR875 seemed good overall, but there were a few "not so satisfied" customers, so I was worried that this new Breadman would not match up to my old one. Well, so far, I am very happily satisfied. Since I have been using breadmakers for many years, I always modify recipes. With my new TR875, my bread recipes always come out WONDERFULLY!!!!! I am so happy, I was able to replace a terrific Breadman for another Breadman. The TR875 takes less time to bake a loaf, even though I use the "medium setting" on the TR875 and used the "light setting" on my old machine. This machine is less heavy than my old one, so I was concerned it may jump around on my counter, but it does not. I have always preferred the "french bread" cycle because we like the resulting crispy crust. Thank you Breadman for continuing to provide me with a wonderful bread making machine. If this new machine lasts even half as long as my old one, I will be very satisfied. |

"Brand new and works great gluten-free" | 2008-09-15 |

This arrived with all plastic wraps still in place (some people seemed to have gotten used ones). It is a bit big - like so many other appliances, it doesnt actually fit under my cabinets - well, it does for storage but i cant OPEN it if its under my cabinets and you have to open it fully to get the pan in and out.
I'd never owned a bread machine before, but i am allergic to yeast and was getting sick when I made gluten-free yeast bread for my son. I found this recomended on Karina's Kitchen blog. The gluten-free setting is working great for me and i dont get sick (but i do have to ask another family member to remove the paddle at the end of the knead cycle). I do check the bread temperature and switch the the bake cycle if the bread isnt quite done. I use the sandwhich bread recipe from Gluten Free Baking Classics, which i also bought from Amazon, but I do 1.5 times the recipe and it works out great (with slightly less liquid and slightly more xanthan, tho). As long as I keep my flour mix ready, this does make bread making much simpler (aside from removing the paddle). |

| My hubby bought this bread machine for me, along with The Bread Lover's Bread Machine Cookbook, as a housewarming present after we moved into our new home a little over a year ago. It makes bread making so easy and accessible, even for a novice baker like myself. It's so easy, in fact, that I feel a little guilty calling it homemade! |

| This is the first time I've tried a breadmaker. This model is easy to use and produces great breads. The instructions are easy to follow, getting the bread started is quick and clean-up in very simple. I can't think of anything else I would want in a breadmaker. Highly recommend this product. |

This is a great bread machine. It is everything the manufacturer said. I have made several different types of bread, including the dough cycle, and all worked well. |

| Well, I've been reading some of the reviews. Guess I'd throw in my 2c. I've had mine for about 14months. I make around 1 loaf of stone ground whole wheat bread per week. Fwiw, this is my second machine (had a DAK for the first). For the most part the loaves come out very well and of consistant texture. I have two complaints: first the tabs that hold the pan down bent, so it's not all that secure. Some users have had trouble with the pan coming out of the the motor. I haven't had that problem, but can see it happening (I make only 2-lb loafs- maybe the extra weight holds it down[?]). Secondly, and the reason why I'm looking around on the net regarding the Breadman, is that the teflon is coming off the pan. On the inside there is two slightly raised areas. It is there that the the teflon is off, down to the metal. I also like adding sunflower seeds. Apparently, this is too abrasive for the pan as there are numerous scratches on the bottom of the pan. I would give if a much lower score if didn't give me consistantly good loaves and was so easy to use. It seems on the cheap side, but after 14 months all is well. |

| I bought this breadmaker a year ago and found that it made the bread okay but I had to try to turn it on several times because the menu was so complicated. Also, the mixing function on my breadmaker does not work. I have to start the churning process myself to make sure it works. I wish I had better success with it because I wanted to make my own bread each week with my new machine but as it is I have only used it a couple of times because it does not work. |
