"Little fingers get pinched!" | 2008-07-20 |

| I loved this product . . . at first. My son got this product for his fist birthday and love playing with all the different musical activities. As a music person, I was impressed with the toy's teaching of concepts like pitch and tempo; however, on a number of occations my son has grabbed hold of the sun at the top of the music book stand and gotten his fingers/hand pinched. The sun doesn't stop moving and it's hard to release his skin from there when the incident occurs. After several incidents I have notified the manufacturer. They have noted the problem. If this happens to you, please let them know so that future little fingers will be saved!! |

| MY 10-month old loves this toy and plays with it everyday; however, We have the same issue with fingers being pinched. When your child grabs onto the sun's face or hands their fingers get pinched in the openings as the parts move. Keep an eye on this, as it pinches very hard. I placed my hand over the opening myself to feel how hard it pinches and it even hurts an adult's fingers. |

"My baby totally love this toy" | 2008-05-20 |

This piano is for 9 months+. My baby was only five and a half months, but she could sit by herself and I believed she could handle it, so I purchased the piano anyway.
I removed the 3 legs so that my baby can play it on floor. My baby knew how to play it right away, and she was smiling while pressing the keys, that was so cool! This piano has a normal piano mode (imagination mode), music fun mode (play a portion of a song every time you press a key), and learning mode (learn color, numbers, and notes). The music fun mode is suitable for my little baby.
After playing it for a while, she may complain and want something else. Then I just turned the piano around and let her played with the toys at the back. It is really a great toy for babies/kids. |

| My son got this for his baptism, as a gift from grandma. He just love it. We have it already for more than year (my son is now 20 months) and it still works and its still one of his favorite toys. It survived falling from bed, many times grab and smack on floor (strange games my kid have :-)) In that one year we had to change batteries only once. This is really great toy. |

"Great, Great Toy" | 2008-03-13 |

| We bought this toy before reading the reviews and my daughter (7M) was immediately in love with this thing. She stood up for the first time the very first day and two weeks later she still can't get enough of this thing. After reading the reviews, I inspected the toy and don't see how it is possible that her fingers can get stuck anywhere. Perhaps they changed the design. That said, she did pulled the table over on top of herself once when she was trying to pull herself up on it. the accident, which didn't hurt her, was my fault, I should have been sitting closer to her to help revent it...as the toy was not built for this. The last few days she has been standing and leaning on it a lot and it seems very sturdy. I would highly recommend this toy to my friends. |

"4 month old can play piano! Wow!" | 2008-02-08 |

| This is sooo cute. My 4 month old granddaughter sits in front of this with the help of Mommy and plays her little piano. The music is so much fun and it does have several songs for her to "play". Her little eyes just light up and her hands are learning to touch and feel and manipulate on the keys. Well worth the money. Different settings will allow her to play a song or play notes on the keyboard. |

"will entertain and teach for years" | 2008-02-08 |

This is one of the best toys I've ever seen. I don't care for most of the newfangled plastic, electronic toys...most of them are junk. This one, however, is well-designed and will entertain a baby as well as even a 5 or 6 year old, in my opinion. I used to teach music at the elementary school level, and I think my kindergarteners and first-graders would have loved it.
The controls are all easy enough to operate that even a 9-month-old (the suggested earliest age) can operate them easily...none of them require too much strength or dexterity, for instance.
It teaches real musical concepts (high vs low, fast vs slow, etc) and has an actual, properly-working piano keyboard. The keys work like a real piano's does; if I press down 2 or 3 or 4 keys, they will all sound together, and the sound quality is like an actual piano, not a buzzy toy. There are so many different modes (there are three main modes, but when you turn the music "page" it brings up different sub-modes) so there are many different ways to play with this toy. My kid has played with this for 2 months, and I'm still discovering new functions on it.
I like the piano so well that I am pretty vigilant about not letting my baby "pull up" on it...I want the toy still working when he's 3 or 4. :) If you are assembling this for a baby, I would recommend waiting to install the legs until your child is through with the "pulling-up" phase. Durability may be the only weakness of this toy; nothing has broken on mine, but I could see where if an aggressive toddler say, tipped it over and stepped on the music stand part, that might break off or something.
On the whole, though, I LOVE this toy! Music teacher approved! |

| Grandma bought this piano for my then 7 month old daughter. We have not put on the legs yet so she can play with it on the floor. She has had a wonderful time and entertains herself for a long time. The songs are pleasant and the volume just right. She also has 2 older brothers, 5 and 3 yrs and they like to play with it too. One night, the whole family had fun making up and playing tunes on it. Great little piano, sturdy and fun. |
