Neat graphics, fun at first but the battles and fights are all really repetitive. Alot of different characters to play as. Fun but not alot of replay value.
"Fun game... if u got a 50inch TV..."

I heard all the rave reviews with the game.. but after playing it.. it not all hyped up to be.
all the characters play almost similarly. what the developers did was create different skins for the character.
the powers. there is the lightning, the ice, the psi bolt.... basically all the same but just loooks different.
you dont get a sense of feeling like a superhero.. but at least you get to look shiny.. (like the background.. not good.. makes it even harder to see yourself)
I have a 26 inch widescreen hd tv... and these superheroes look like mini heroes! You cant tell who is friend or foe or if foe is even there!! many times i find my self just button mashing away thinking there is an enemy.. and there isnt any. I normally sit 10 ft from the tv.. and many times. i find my self 5 ft from the tv at the end of playing.. cuz I just cant see a THING! and I just recently had my eyes lasered.. so it cant be my eyes.. :P
but.. if u like to waste your time.. it is a good thing to waste ur time..
tho..it may not be worth the headache in trying to find things onscreen...
oh.. one more thing..
the game is glitchy..
the only game to freeze restart my ps3 3 times in 5 days i had it. and i almost felt like i was playing on an xbox.. :P

It's great the first time but you can pass all the levels in just 2 days and the fun ends.

"Siaxis tilt functions can be turned off"

You can turn off the Sixaxis tilt functions off in the menu options. So, instead of all that tilting junk, you just hit "triangle, circle, etc." when prompted.
Concerning the game itself. You control four superheroes. One yourself and the other 3 will autofight. You can switch between the four at anytime. Marvel Alliance is a good game. It is like an RPG with superheroes you can level, add add items to, and change outfits (each giving different bonuses).
This game is great. Although with Marvel Alliance 2 about to come out, this game's price is about to plummet just like all predecessors of sequels. So, I wouldn't pay too much for it, anything under $20 is okay, because that is where it will wind up.
I picked this up used for $15 and so far I'm enjoying it more then the X-Men Legends games. There's a lot of variety in the levels, enemies, and combos you string together so the button mashing doesn't get old. Graphics look great in 1080p on my 42" LCD. Though on some levels I experience a lag in the frame rate. Also there's absolutely no one playing online anymore. But it's still a good game for under $20. Especially if you're into marvel comics.
