| This is the best quality toolbench available for children. It's made by Step 2 and very sturdy. My 3 yr old daughter (yes, that's right - daughter) received this for her birthday. She loves tools and has a blast with this bench. It comes with a drill that you can use to screw and unscrew bolts. It also comes with a drill attachment to pretend drilling holes. The vise is easy to use. The wood pieces are made out of foam, but until you actually touch and look at them close, you wouldn't be able to tell. The toy comes with a "manual" that shows how to create various projects (birdhouse, cars, tool box, etc). And your child can use their imagination to put their own items together. It is one of the best gifts she received for her birthday. Highly recommended! |

| We got this for my son's 2nd birthday. It had great reviews. All of his older friends have loved playing with it. My son loves the drill and all the different bits and the fact that it drills in and out. He hasn't experimented much with the wood parts yet, but we will. It will be a great toy for years and years. |

| I bought this for my grandson's third birthday. He absolutely LOVES it!! He plays with it constantly. One reason that I chose this workbench is that it has real projects. Much to my surprise he does not even need the real projects yet but is happy to play with the tools and the nuts and bolts in his own imaginative way. There are several projects included with the workbench so you don't necessarily need the extra projects kit. I did buy the kit also since it was available. I was afraid that it might be hard to find later. I will save the kits until he is older as they are more complex. I am sure he will continue to enjoy this for at least 5 years. I would have liked to have seen a wrench or pliers included and a stand alone screw driver. There is a screw driver bit for the drill -- maybe I just need to get more in touch with the current world of tools |

| Our 3 year old loves this! Yes the foam pieces are too hard for him to do alone but he thinks he's building things with them and that's all that matters. My only thing with it is it shows a wrench and another tool on the sticker that goes on it, but it doesn't come with these tools. Bummer. Overall great toy! |

Really nice product, easy assembly. My only complaint is it comes with a "blue print" that has pictures of different projects you can build. They are really hard to understand. It only shows you a completed project picture. And once you see the odd shape of some of the pieces, it can be real confusing to figure out what you need. My husband and I both had a difficult time figuring out some of the pictures. I'm not sure how our 3 year old is going to figure them out. I think we'll be building projects for him for quite a while. Other than that, this is a great toy. Has a nice drawer for storage and a shelf below for the same. Despite the difficulty of the projects, my son loves it! |

| This is really cute for my (almost) 4 year old son. He will drag it all around the house where my husband is working and work on his own "projects". He is still too little to make the suggested projects by himself, but he can still put the pieces together randomly however he wants, and he loves that. Even older kids that come over will play with it and make the different projects. We like it. |

This little workshop has got to be one of the cutest toys! I bought it for my daycare - but my 17 month old daughter loves playing with it too! The screwdriver "works" with batteries, and it comes with several other tools. I also love all of the foam "wood" pieces. Although my daughter doesn't understand what to do with them, she still thoroughly enjoys playing with them. She also really likes putting things in the pullout drawer. Assembly is pretty quick - although the holes are not pre-drilled for the 4 big screws. But pre-drilling them myself was no problem.
The ONLY downfall is that the foam blocks don't stay together that well. They can be put together, but are easily pulled apart through light playing. But overall, I would not say that's a big deal. I'm sure kids will enjoy playing with it no matter what! |
