second one that i have i use it all the time for local and international calles, and in some cases it even sounds way better than when you are calling a land line or a cel phone.

Just i dont understand how 1 year ago i but the phone for 125.00 dallars and two months ago i bought the same exact phone for 350 dallars.
terrible. if it wan not beacuse i really need it i would not have spent that money, 125.00 that ok 350 i thinks it to much.

I've had this one for almost two years and it has proven itself to be very useful and convenient. The best thing is that I don't need to have any of my computers on to use the Skype software, as long as I have my router powered on and connected, I'm able to use the phone. I like the configurable options available on the phone settings. I did set the phone with a static IP to avoid any stability or conflect problems. Over all a good phone along with good service, affordable service from Skype!
I decided in January to take the plunge: drop the landline and go Skype (and cellphone). It's worked out pretty well since then with this phone. I did want a phone that could be used without the computer on, and the reviews I've read for the wireless phones makes it sound like those aren't yet ready for prime time.
The phone has worked fine for the most part.
Pros:
- Good sound quality - Reliability - Made the transition pretty seamless from landline to skype
Cons:
- The phone features and design remind me of phones we were using 20 years ago. Pretty basic. Not even a redial button. - As others have mentioned, it resets sometimes, or you have to go reset the phone by unplugging it from the router. - Touch tones don't always work on automated menus, or for entering in the extensions of employees. - Call waiting is horrible. I'd prefer to disable it, but the phone won't let you do that. If you don't answer the other call it beeps at you constantly.
I work from my home and needed a second line. I also use Skype alot to talk with associates overseas. When I heard about this phone, I thought I would try it. It has been working out quite well.
It plugs right into my router and works fairly reliably. (It occasionally resets and loses connection.) Associates can call and I no longer need to fumble for my headset. The computer doesn't have to stay on all the time.
I went ahead and got a SkypeIn number. Now anyone can call me, not just Skype users. I am pleased with this.

We've had this phone for over a year and we absolutely love it! I bought it for my dad so that he could walk around the house talking to all of his relatives.... hes also happy with it! the range of this phone is unbelievable!!! it never ends =) overall a very very nice and good product!
