| I absolutely love this game!! I have played all the games in the Paper Mario series, and this one is just as good as the others. It will have you enjoying yourself, scratching your head in confusion, and absolutely laughing out loud. The gameplay is easy to get used to, the storyline lovely (how does Nintendo keep coming up with storylines!? You'd think they'd run out of ideas), and the text part of the game is clever. When I say laughing out loud I mean it too, there are some puns and some parts are just plain silly. This game uses the Wii remote, maybe not as much as some games but it lets you interact more than you would usually be able to in your average video game. All of the Paper Mario games have kept me entertained for hours, I highly recommend all of them and especially this one!! |

I know I'll get death threats for this, and possibly a visit from a Donkey Kong hitman, but I thought this game was only so-so. It has the typical cheesy, shallow story line, which I'd be fine with, except for inconsistencies and an apparently poor translation at times. The level designs are fun, and the flip in dimensions is innovative and useful. Making the game play for the most part quite fun.
My one major complaint is switching the pixels. As much fun as some of the powers are, the play mechanics to switch between them will suck you right out of the game. To have to frequently jump into the menu system make a couple selections and switch your pixel is a real drag. I'm perplexed that they didn't treat them like swapping out guns in a FPS, which would have made much more sense, especially considering how essential they are for normal game play.
Otherwise, I believe I would have found enjoyment through the entire game, instead of |

I am going to say the pros and cons of the game.
Pros: 1. It is a very fun game
2. The character's abilities and pixls are fun to use.
Cons: 1. WAY TOO EASY!!
2. After you beat the game, there is basicly nothing to do.
Overall a 3. I recommend renting, not buying the game. |

| Mario sets out on his most boring review. To much talking and not enough action. Very few rpg elements that used to be present. Oversimplified gameplay that children wouldn't enjoy because of the huge amount of text. |

I want to start by saying I really enjoy playing this game. It's lots of fun with its different levels and tasks. There's plenty to do, and while it's not easy, it's not overwhelmingly difficult. I did finally break down and buy the guide, but I only use it when absolutely stumped. Despite its cartoonish appearance, this game is probably not good for really young kids (under 8 or so depending on gaming exp) because it is rather tricky sometimes. Personally, I find it just challenging enough to keep my interest, but not so hard that I want to quit (and I'm 24).
Now, that said, as much as I enjoy the game, the amount of dialogue drives me crazy! Everyone you meet wants to talktalktalk about stuff. Yes, a lot of it is important to the plot and gameplay, but not all of it. Also, you can't really make it go faster, so you just have to sit through it. I can understand that this would turn a lot of people off to this game, but I enjoy the game enough that I'm willing to put up with it.
If you're unsure if you are willing to deal with the talking, I suggest renting it first (the only reason I bought it before trying it was it was on major sale here on Amazon). |

| good game for ppl who can't really play 3D games like me. good starting point to get used to playing in 3D. can be long if you don't use the walk through. overall, great and addictive game. |

| I thought this would be like old school Mario. It's cute but I just don't get it. The pace is very slow, kind of boring. Going through lots of doors. Not for me, I guess I have a short attention span! |

| Like some real rpg paper Mario fans. we expected an rpg, not a side scrolling Mario bros game with bowser as a playable character. this is a terrible let down. But the n again its not the worst game its not for rpg fans like me its for little kids and those who enjoy Mario bros a whole lot. My friend brought and I thought it was going to be one of those long and good adventure rpgs like the first and second one. I say if you have a little extra money why not buy it or rent it before you buy it to see if you like it. For those who want the original lets hope nintendo makes a better 4th one, or settle for this. |

I loved this game. The only (and I mean ONLY) complaint I had with it is the loooooooooooooooooooooong dialog between the bad guys and the good guys...and between the bad and bad and good and good guys, too. It's LONG-winded in places, but if you can manage to overlook that huge detail, this is one of the best Mario games ever made. Ever. I played it right to the bitter end (incl. the Flopside Pit of 100 Trails...twice).

| I enjoyed the first two paper mario games very much as a role playing game. This one is completely different and tries...I said tries...to be an updated version of Super Mario Brothers with role playing aspects. It doesn't feel anything like the first two games in the series. The story and dialog are slow and boring. The puzzles are decent and some clever. The 2D/3D switching is interesting to an extent. It had some entertainment value (therefore the 3 star rating), but I wish I had rented it rather than gotten my own copy. I would not recommend this title if you are expecting a Paper Mario type game for the Wii. If you haven't played those two games, you are more likely to enjoy this as long as slow story/dialog don't bother you. |
