The watch has some issues with resetting the minutes hand of the chrono at the right position, but this watch is not meant to be that serious. It is big, but not overly big unless you are a very small person. It does draw a lot more attention than most watches (people never notice my Omega, Tag, or Tissot) but I did get comments on this watch the first time I wore it. Even the band is nicer than I expected, it is not as cheap as it looks in the picture. Buy it. Now I am considering buying the black or blue version as well.

Here's the deal, I live in a a place and come from a set that has a certain association with watch brands. Tags are given as a graduation present, Rolexes are the first big post grad purchase, and a bit loafer with a custom tailored shirt are a rite of passage into the adult world. Of course I find myself begging for an Omega at Christmas, but this time around I wanted to find a watch face that wasn't recognizable, but still caught the eye. I viewed some Wenger military issues and liked what I saw, but ultimately chose to go with this Invicta. I knew nothing about the brand, nor did I know they had segments on shopNBC or whatever, but I pulled the trigger on the lefty watch and never looked back and rock it every day. I'm a righty and wear this watch as such and have to say that I enjoy the comfort of not having the mechanics on the right and let me tell you why, first, no one is going to change the time with their watch still on the wrist, second, when you have a watch on and have to flex your wrist back you don't want a huge dial digging into your skin; dials on the left? genius for a righty if you ask me. Now the look, it's a sweet watch, big and classy. I've never received more positive comments, nor been asked more about an accessory other than my Smathers and Branson needlepoint belt, than this watch. In fact, just the other day I was being scoped by a suitor and she asked if it was an IWC and if not she'd bazooka joe anyway Evander Brolyfield. All I can say is that I've owned this watch for a year and I couldn't be happier. Check it out, it's worth the price and you will get copious compliments. I hope you read this and cheers to those who did!!

I got this watch from Amazon, and I like it a lot. But I already have some big watches. You sort of have to try one to see if you like watches over 40mm; and you WILL get comments. I am right handed, but I wear the watch on my right wrist anyway for fun. The movement seems to be a chronograph turned upside down, with the stopwatch start button on the bottom; which I believe is unususal. The white hands on the buff dial are a bit hard to read quickly, but the dial detail is fascinating and pretty. This is a beautiful watch for anything under $700. You ought to get you one!
