| I did alot of research and comparisions and for the price and the picture i got from this LCD TV it was well worth it. The three HDMI inputs and other ports are excellent for a gamer and movie watcher that I am. The complaint i have with the two that i purchased is reliability. I purchased the tv and within a year i experienced power issues with the system. I bought an extended warranty and was able to replace it with the same model. I thought it may have been my surge protector so rather than taking a chance i bought a 70 dollar surge protector to protect my second tv and wouldnt you know it 6 months later i experience the same problem the tv would not power up. rather than getting the same one again i decided to spend an extra 500 dollars and went with samsung. I would recomended this tv but you'd be taking a chance. in all i spent 300 dollars on two extended warranties when that could have gone to a bigger tv. Buyer beware |

"Good Media Center TV" | 2008-06-03 |

Lots of people have written about the picture and sound quality of this TV. I will write about the feature that I like best about this TV.
It's the option to set the picture size as "native". What this option allows is to display the entire computer screen when connected through an hdmi input.
No I don't use this TV as a computer monitor. I use this as a good media center TV. All my home videos, dvds, songs, photos are on my computer. Hence it makes sense to connect my computer to this excellent TV to enjoy all the media in its full glory instead of on the tiny laptop monitor.
I have used the hdmi output on my laptop to connect it to the TV. The hdmi cable carries both the video and audio signal and hence hooking up the laptop to the TV is very clean and easy. You can do this with pretty much any TV that has a hdmi input. However most TVs are subject to overscanning and display only part of the computer screen. This is where the Regza stands out.
After setting the 720P (1280x720) resolution on your laptop, select "native" as your picture size. You can now see the entire computer screen with no clipped areas. |

"Fabulous picture quality" | 2008-04-05 |

| I researched my LCD TV purchase for several years before taking the plunge. I liked the Sony Bravia and some of the Phillips models available. I finally did a side by side eyeball test at a local big box electronics place and settled on the Regza. For my viewing needs and tastes, the picture is equal to the higher priced Sony model. The Regza offers 3 HDMI inputs and is easy to set up. It was simple for a middle aged woman to handle the set and brainless to figure out where everything went. Consumer Reports also rates Toshiba as one of the top (if not the top) manufacturer of LCD sets. It was a great buy on Amazon and I haven't regretted it for a minute! |

"good option to the expensive sets" | 2008-04-05 |

| I am very happy with this Toshiba Regza 32". I was tempted to buy one of the more expensive sets (1080P) but I decided on price and the single reason that it was my first flat screen tv after all. Two months later I am really happy I chose this one. It is very easy to set up and navigate the menus. I got the HDMI cable from Radio Shack. The $$$ 100 $$$ cable from Monster did not seem such a great deal compared to $40 at The Shack. I connected it to a regular DVD player and it looks fine. I shall wait another year before I decide if I want to buy the much touted "Blu Ray". 32" is really a decent size. The large screen tv's seem so excessive and cumbersome. They make me feel I am being sucked into a "tv world" of sorts. I guess they would be alright if you have an airplane hangar of a living room and you have to impress your buddies every sunday when you watch the " foo'ba " game together. Not everyone is easily impressed by gadgets and possessions. So, this is a nice enough tv. You won't regret buying it. |

"Frustration" | 2008-04-05 |

This TV was delivered to us on March 4th. The picture, which is fabulous most of the time, every few minutes goes completely grey, freezes up or starts getting pixated (little squares freeze on various parts of the screen). The sound also drops or gets garbled when this happens. This does not happen on our other HDTV, so it's not the cable signal to the home. We exchanged the cable box, and it continued to happen. Amazon took the tv back without any trouble. I'd give it 1 star, except I can't be sure it wasn't some setting that we set in error and when it worked the picture was gorgeous. Anyway, we then bought another Toshiba, which has been fabulous and problem-free (and is cheaper). Here's the link to that one: Toshiba 32AV500U 32-inch 720p LCD HDTV |

| A great TV. I read they spend a ton on research relative to other manufacturers and I am pleased with picture overall (no HD yet). One complaint: The "Universal Remote" is basically limited to a finite list of components on one page, none of which I own. |

| I've had this tv for about 5 months now and if it weren't for the tv making a buzzing sound on bright HD channels, i would have given this a higher rating. Whevener a bright channel is on, for example: skiing on an HD channel, there is this buzzing sound eminating from the back of the tv. it's really annoying. other than that, though, the tv is great! |
