"Must admit it is GREAT!" | 2009-09-10 |

I've had this thing for almost 2yrs now. I bought it for my I pod, when the ipods could not do stereo bt so I also bought the little adapter. I really used to hate going to the gym with that like adapter, ipod and the headset (that btw screams.. LOOK AT ME).
I stoped using it because keeping the adapter charged was a big issue... since the software update happened i have started to use it again on my iPhone. I have to say... this products is actually great. I ahve NEVER had any connection issues. The battery lasts FOREVER, and the sound is pretty good for me.
My only complaints are: My head is big so it hurts if you use it for a long while... personally i cannot have it on for more than 90minutes. I use this for working out, the the spongy thing gets wet... so I clean it daily with some type of anti bacterial spray (I hate doing it)...
Other than that everything is great!
I've been thinking of buying a more workout friendly headset but after reading the reviews in the other products I decided to keep this one until it breaks. Kudos Jabra...

"Conflict with microware oven frequency But super sound quality" | 2009-08-10 |

Excellent Sound quality but conflict with my Panasonic Microware oven frequency. I can't heard any sound whenever I use my microware oven. Again the sound quality is excellent. I own the HP TouchSmart IQ816 computer with HD TV turner. So I can watch HD TV program. I can hear clear water dripping sound and soft wind blowing too. I watch some online movies on [....]. I can hear every sound so clearly.
It also can act as simple remote control, like stop movie (but can't play again, I have to use my handheld remote control to continue play on going movie). I also can skip 10 second forward (or backward) by pressing the "skip" button on the headset. If you computer or software let you set "Dolby Virtual Speaker", "Bolby Surround sound compatible","Tru-SurroundXT", or any Surround sound features. This headset will rock your world. If a car in the movie is driving across yout TV screen. You can feel the car in the movie driving through from you left ear then passing through your Right ear. So cool...... |

"Uneven performance" | 2009-05-15 |

| The fit is good and the controls are amongst the best I've seen on any Bluetooth stereo headset. The sound quality is also good. But I had uneven results with connectivity. Even with my phone in my left pocket, I would lose signal fairly often, and have the song speed up, slow down, and skip. Simply moving it to my right pocket reduced, but did not eliminate, this concern. The problem happened with several different phones of different models, none of which had that problem with any of several other Bluetooth headsets, so I can only blame the headset. |

| Sound quality is excellent, and the fit is fairly comfortable for this type of headset. However, it takes 3 or 4 attempts before it connects to my phone's music player (Samsung A707 SYNC). I'm not sure if its the headset or the phone, but it can be frustrating. It connects on the first try, however, with the same phone when making voice calls. Also, while it can work fine at some distance, it cuts out frequently if I have the phone in my pocket. Lastly, the speed of the music I'm listening to will slow down or speed up occasionally , but I believe that is a function of Bluetooth technology. All in all, not a bad deal for the price I paid. |

Let me just say that these headphones work absolutely fine, they have good sound, and are built well enough that if you arent trying to stuff them in your back pocket they should be fine. the issue you'll most likely run into isnt with the headphones themselves, but the source of the bluetooth audio. I tried these on my phone (samsung rugby), my laptop (dell mini 9 windows 7 beta) and my desktop (with kensington usb bluetooth 2.0 and windows 7 beta.) all had varied results.
On my phone, they paired fine, and had no problems with music playback and control of the phone with the buttons, but the sound was less than stellar. It wasnt unbearable, but it made me wonder if this a2dp thing was really worth it. So then i tried them on my desktop computer. That did not work at all, and I was pretty bummed at that point. But upon further research I found that it was a problem with my usb bluetooth adapter (which i'm still trying to remedy). So finally, I tried them on my laptop with a built in bluetooth and they worked like a charm. They sounded as good as any similarly built set of regular headphones.
So if you're leery of purchasing these based on other negative reviews, just keep in mind that there are a lot of factors that go into the quality of sound you get out of these, and fortunately they themselves arent one of them. |
