I would recommend this movie to anyone. Will is hilarious and cast compliment him well.

I was happily surprised with this one. I thought I'd turn it off within the first 30 minutes because it would be too stupid. Well, it was stupid, but in the funny kind of way. Not amazing, and probably not worth watching over and over, but still better than expected.
"Funny movie."

"So Stupid it's Funny"

This is a very stupid movie. You must accept and understand that fact before moving on to watch this movie. It is chock-full of inappropriate, melodramatic, predictable, and plain dumb stunts, but that's what makes this movie worth watching once or twice in a lifetime. Sometimes it's good to get away from all those dark, serious, and sad movies and find something much lighter and less serious. If you're depressed, this movie will squeeze a few hearty laughs and many chuckles, if not some raised brows.
Will Ferrel is a comical genius, and he stars in this ridiculous, inappropriate, and funny film as Chazz Michael Michaels, raunchy and skilled sex-driven ice-skater. His seemingly perfect future becomes questionable, however, when he meets up with the talented but girlish Jimmy McElroya (Jon Heder) and when the tie at a match, they fight and are banned from single skating ever again.
Years later, they team up, urged on by Jimmy's old coach, and find a loophole in the banning that they can still skate as partners. What follows is a predictable but laughable series of awkward situations, girly scuffles, an unlikely romance between Jimmy and the enemy, and an awkward but faithful friendship between Chazz and Jimmy.
No, you shouldn't buy this movie. You should rent it, see if you like it, and then maybe consider paying money to own it. Frankly, it's a movie that you'll either like or hate, and whichever side of the line you're on, this movie isn't exactly worth buying, no matter how funny it can be at times. But try it, and see what happens- you never know!

As far as Will Ferrell goes, this is a solid 4 of 5 or 8 of 10...
Step Brothers (Single-Disc Unrated Edition) is better and Kicking and Screaming is the worst...This is in the middle.
