I bought this monitor to replace my Synaps 15.4" widescreen monitor. It is a MAJOR improvement!! The resolution (1440x900) is also larger (and therefore better) than my old monitor, which had a resolution of 1280x800. The speakers on this monitor are not the best, but are sufficient to provide okay sound (with little or no bass). I like the power button's different colors (whether it is on, standby, or off) and the 4 menu buttons in the bottom right corner are conveniently placed. The so-called "keyboard tray" under the monitor is also nice to use for other things sitting on your desk. I especially like the "dip." Here, you could place round objects to prevent them from rolling away. The swivel feature is also pretty cool, and I like that you can hook up either DVI or VGA input from your computer. You could (probably) hook up 2 computers to this monitor and switch between them! I highly recommend this monitor to anyone who needs a high quality 19" computer monitor.

descent size love the 19inch wide-screen look
it had div input so u can have a better resolution
i use these as dual monitors so i can get my multitasking on
build in speakers so noo need to buy a set so that's pluss
since i have to my sounds louder :)

I bought this as an upgrade from my old Viewsonic 17 inch CRT monitor.
I like the dual video inputs as I can plug my Windows desktop machine into one and my Linux server into the other and just use the front panel Menu button to switch from one to the other.
The built in speakers or OK but don't expect hi fidelity surround sound from them. I only wish there were two inputs for audio as well.
It took me some time to get used to the widescreen aspect but I've grown to like it a lot.
It's a very good monitor for the price and plenty bright enough to watch videos and TV if you have a tuner card in your PC.
I bought it mainly because of the HP brand but be forewarned, it's made in China like most of the electronics today.

I looked at several monitors in the $100 - $125 price range and the HP 1907 stood out from the bunch. I don't like the anti-glare coating that Acer puts on all of their monitors. It makes the screen dull and less sharp. The HP monitor has a crystal clear display that renders a beautiful, sharp image. The HP monitor was on sale for $110 at Office Max which seemed like a really good deal. About the only downside with this particular monitor is the 1 year warranty. Almost all other monitors have a 3 year warranty. This was almost a deal breaker but the image quality won me over.

Has a good image but a "wide" monitor means it isn't very high (only a quarter of an inch more that my old 15" CRT). Getting the monitor on the proper angle on the stand was a bit tricky since it seemed possible the stand would break. Good price & no more left and right scrolling.
