| The box looked like it had been shredded when it arrived. You could see inside the box, no side was sealed anymore, which was unacceptable. Strangely enough though, the truck wasn't damaged at all, only a couple of bolts were missing. I called the company and they overnighted the missing pieces to me. I was very impressed by the customer service I received. Haven't given the truck to my son yet, so no news on the actual item as of yet. |

| We purchased this for our grandchildren and it no longer works. We were sent a replacement part from Safety First or Dorell or whatever they're calling themselves nowadays. It didn't work. We can't find a battery that works and they said they'd have someone call us to set up a repair. No one called. There is no where that will repair it near us and imagine what it would cost to ship this thing out for repair. Do yourself a favor and skip this company and their products. New mangement? That's what they do so they don't have to deal with the problems created by the last group. You're results will be no better. Our grandchildren are broken hearted that this toy no longer works. |

| I purchased this dump truck for my grandson's 5th birthday, due to his love of construction equipment! It is colorful and gives an audible backing up signal that he just loves. It is roomy enough to give his friends rides and was a big hit. |

| I purchased the dump truck for my son on his third b-day. I was not sure about spending $350.00 on the safety first product vs the Power Wheel brand but my son had to have the dump truck! I wish I would have trusted my instincts, having two children and hundred of toys it has been the worst purchase I have ever made! After riding it for a few months and following all the recharging instructions the low battery would start beeping after riding it for only one minute. I called they told me it was the battery that needed to be replaced so I went and bought a new battery but it continued doing the same thing. They sent me a new cable to connect the battery but that didn't work. After all of this they said they could not help me anymore because the waranty was out of date now! So my son only enjoyed this $350.00 toy for 3 months. Needless to say I only buy Power Wheels now and haven't had a single problem! If you need customer service beware they are very rude. |

| This is not a Safety 1st product! I work for the company that took over the Kid Trax ride on toys from Safety 1st. We completely updated the entire drive system on these units including the battery, battery connector, and circuit board. The old company Safety 1st had a lot of problems with the units, but now we have made them reliable and safe. The new Kid Trax Tonka truck has all of these quality improvements plus a dumping bed, sound effects, and working microphone speaker. |

| This thing was such junk! My son received it as a gift for his 3rd birthday. He got to ride it maybe 3 times before it stopped working. Immediately there was a problem with the wheels spinning out even on flat surfaces. After that it would run for two minutes and then quit with clicking and beeping sounds. Safety First replaced the battery charger, but that didn't work. Then we brought it to a repair shop who replaced the circuit board and then the gear switch. We brought it home after three months of it being there due to waiting for the parts to come in and it still only ran for a minute or two just like before. Only this time it wouldn't go into gear unless you really forced it and it no longer beeped in reverse. We tried another battery too, but still no different. The customer service at Safety First totally sucked. They didn't return my phone calls and weren't sympathetic to the situation at all. Finally the manager left us a message that they would refund our money as long as we send back the battery charger and the battery plug in order to "disable the vehicle." Then they would send back the refund. Also we would be stuck with the stupid thing to dispose of ourselves. In our area we have to pay the recycling center to dispose of it because it's so large. In all this was the worst POS we've ever bought! |
