| I bought the Sunpentown double-door refrigerator for my son who just moved into his dorm at college. I asked him what he thought and he gives this product great reviews. He is very happy with it and said it keeps everything cool. He is able to keep things for in-between meals or for those moments when he barely has time to make it to class. |

Admission: I bought this to install in my outdoor living room area. I just couldn't justify buying one of those units that are built for outdoors, when they're priced so much higher. I decided that if I had to replace this unit every 2 years, it's still cheaper to own.
Overall, great product. I like the various storage options inside, with the in-door drink rack, single drawer inside, and enough shelving to hold the outdoor essentials (mustard, ketchup, etc...).
The only challenge is that it gets really cold and icy. I've tried turning the temp down, but then things don't stay as cool. I may have to just regularly defrost it, but that's a small price to pay overall. |

| After lots of research, I decided to get a fridge with separate freezer and refrigerator components because I read that having a freezer inside the fridge compartment will make either the fridge too cold or too warm depending on how you dial the setting. This fridge got compliments for its looks in my office, and works great! So quiet, I don't notice it's there! The freezer freezes ice cubes and the refrigerator keeps my food cold. The dial was easily set so that the fridge is not warm but not so cold that it freezes the food. I was even impressed that the dial could be set so cold that my food got frozen in the fridge section! |

| UPS delivered two of these refrigerators....they both were delivered to my porch upside down...of course the refrigerant drained and neither worked. had first one picked up and it was replaced and the exact same thing happened. called amazon and requested that they ask the shipper to keep them right side up (no verbage on box), and was told there was nothing they could do. so i never got a chance to find out how the frig worked. Had to call amazon frequently for the refunds. I got a less expensive Frigidaire double door compact at Lowes, free delivery and am very happy... |
