A few weeks ago I received my Halo 3 Edition Xbox 360, and it shipped fast and was great. The HDMI option included in this version made games look crystal clear and very sharp. The colors of this special edition Xbox looked awesome and were nice to show off to your friends, and the included Halo controller and headset completed the look. I bought this product along with an Xbox Live Gold Membership, and I immediately began downloading maps, themes, and game demos from the very handy Xbox Live Marketplace, as well as enjoying top-of-the-line online gaming.
After a week or two of flawless gaming on my new Xbox, however, I suddenly received an "internal system failure" message and was forced to send my precious new Xbox back for repair. I do not understand why after years of updating the Xbox 360 so many times that the console's designers cannot fix simple problems like this. I expect my Xbox to be back in 2-3 weeks, and I can only pray to God that this time it will last for a while. If I have to send in my Xbox for repair AGAIN after I get it back, I'm saving my money for a PS3. End of story.
All in all, I found the Halo 3 Edition Xbox 360 to be thriving with great features and impressive online play, but I am very disappointed in the product's failure after very mild use. |

| The Xbox 360 Halo Edition is perfect for any Halo loving game girl like me. Ain't nothing like it. Green and everything. Works great, better than any other Xbox on the plant I like to think, but maybe that's just me. This is way better than a normal black one. It's kinda special in a way. I really like it and I think you will to so I definitely recommend it. Very high quality definition and 20 gb hard drive, all nice to me. |

I have had my Halo xbox for over a year and a half with absolutely no problems whatsoever (crosses fingers). The console does not have the Falcon chip, however in terms of performance I have been unable to discern between mine and those that do. To date no red rings of death and even xbox games have run well on it.
Console operation aside, from a gamers perspective (at least mine), the xbox 360 is the console to own in terms of game library and functionality. I love being able to download DLC for games that have already outlived those on other consoles. As the Wii is being burdened with more ruddy-ware, and the PS3 has a shot in the dark once a year, this is the best console for any gamer particularly for the price.
The Halo console has worked perfectly for me, and while the aesthetics are a perk, this console offers much more to those outside of the Halo fan base. |

| i know im alone when i say that the xbox 360 is better than the ps3 and the wii, but that is just my opinion. i have owned this console for a year and it still works. probably, it still works because i have the halo 3 edition. probably. the xbox 360 has a lot of games you should all own, like halo 3, gears of war 1-2, and some other more. therefore i strongly suggest you buy the xbox 360. |

This product is junk. Another example of Microsoft releasing a product to market before it is ready. Before you buy this unit google "xbox 360 red ring of death." Some estimate the failure rate at 33% for these units. I had the red ring with an E74 error code (you can google that too), and even though my unit was less than one year old Microsoft told me that it would not be covered by warranty, but I could have the privilege of paying them $100, in advance, to send them my unit and have them send me a refurbished unit within 6 weeks (I'm sure the refurbished unit would last a nice long time too).
This link is to an article about the latest preventable defect with this unit: [...]
I'm giving this unit one star only because I cannot figure out how to give it no stars. Buy a PS3 instead. |

| I bought the 360 the day it came out but unfortunately it died from the Red Ring of Death and nobody (including Microsoft) could fix it. But I took this opportunity to show some of my Halo fanboyism and pick up this console. It definitely goes well with my Halo 3 Legendary Edition helmet and Halo 3 Xbox 360 carrying case/backpack. And even though the description said it was used, the thing looked brand new to me. Great purchase for any Halo fan. |
