It's a fun game. There are features that EA took out way back in 04-05 that I still miss. The controls are still a bit "touchy" (i.e. who runs away from the ball when it's passed directly to you????). Glitches aside, I bought this for fun, and that's what I've gotten out of it. The "Be a Pro" mode is by far the best part of the game. The online version of Be A Pro is easily worth the price of admission, provided you don't get stuck with a bunch of idiots online.
I think the menus need to be thought out a bit better, as sometimes it's hard to find options. I've played FIFA 07 and this is easily better. I haven't tried 09 yet, but heard it's not as good as 08.
Hopefully EA will make something worthy of 5 stars. In my opinion, they haven't done it yet, but are getting closer.

Awesome game. I've been playing this game for a little over a year and a half.
Its a lot of fun even had the girlfriend get into it.
Good graphics... A lot of fun playing CO-OP

Hey folks! This is an amazing game! Also here's a link to my favorite band from the game. They're called Jupiter One. They're an Pop Rock Electronic band. Their music gets played throughout game. I did some searching and found their album...IT'S AMAZING!

This game is good but for a measly $17 you can get FIFA 09 which is supposed to be much better. I bought this game last year and now bought 09. You can't go wrong with FIFA (except for FIFA 07 which was a total rush job).

Even though many people say PES 2008 is the best, I support Fifa because it is always the expert in the soccer games. Also, the graphic is very valid. I like it

If you're too cheap to shell out the big bucks for FIFA 09, FIFA 08 is a great deal. Hours of ball-kicking fun.
