I bought this printer about 6 months ago and it worked flawless on Windows Vista x64. Installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 x64 and the printer no longer works. The drivers and software HP provides only half works. Scan features cease to work and toss out mass errors when using them.. "hpqtsshctui an unsupported operation was attempted" Unsupported operation lol? That's HP for you. They made the driver and it doesn't even support itself?

I've been using this printer for over a year now and I am thrilled with the photo quality even without having to change any settings like I did with my Epson. It is so easy to fax, scan and copy as well. The thing that really amazed me was when I got a paper jam for the first time trying to print a very time sensitive document and I couldn't reach in to free the paper. I started to freak until I went into the software "help", and lo and behold, there was a video showing me how to remove the paper jam. It worked like a charm. This was priceless to me!

Works very well. Ink consumption seems good. A little trouble with Lotus printing, does not print all the lines. Downloaded updated drivers, but did not change anything.

I'll cut to the chase. Don't buy this or any HP printer that uses the HP Solution Center SW.
The Solution Center software package that is bundled with this printer is awful. All four computers that I use this printer from are now unable to detect the printer from the solution center. I can print just fine... BUT, if I want to print photos, scan stuff, etc... I need the Solution Center SW to work. It doesn't.
So, what does one do? I read up on solutions to the Solution Center problem and, no kidding, it takes almost 2 hours to fix.
Really HP? Really?
Don't buy this if you plan to use it for a scanner/photo printer at all. Frankly, I've noticed posts about this error on other models of HP printers that use the Solution Center SW. Buyer beware!

I bought the HP Photosmart All-In-One because my parents had one and I knew that it was a good quality machine. It's very affordable and has great features. I'm so glad that I no longer have to do any of my printing/copying/scanning/faxing at any other place than my home now that I have this machine.
I liked it so much, I bought a second one. This is a GREAT item. Very well made, has really made a difference in my work. HP SCORED! Highly recommended.
