It worked for about 2 days and then one day I plugged it in and it was so dark you could hardly see it. So for my christmas present I got 2 days of digital frame. It was a gift and I couldn't return it.

Unlike the negative comments this frame has, it is actually a great product. People who complain about it must have limited computer knowledge because their is no software just copy pictures to the memory form of choice and stick it in the frame. They frames can be put in a specific order by numbering them. Try 01 or 001 to start if you have more than 10 or 100 pictures to play. They only real downfall is you cannot upload them onto the frame itself, but other frames like the kodak has limited memory anyway holding only about 15 or so pics. So buy the cheaper product and by a jump drive...also cheap! Good luck!

I bought this as a Christmas present for my mom and dad. I thought that the high resolution (higher than the Kodak) would produce a good picture. I bought my brother the Kodak with a lower resolution but it turned out to be a much better frame. No matter what the resolution of the picture, this frame had a terrible picture. What a disappointment on Christmas morning. not only was the picture bad but now I had to pay to return it. what a kick in the face. do not buy this frame. pay a little more and get a better frame.

NEXTAR 10.4-Inch Digital Photo Frame with Slide Show and Music Function
It does what it says, but it was clumsily programmed and the operation/menu is sometimes quite awkward. Remote must be pointed to left top corner of frame or it won't work. Slide show plays pictures in alphabetic file name order - can not figure out how to make it shuffle. Pictures themselves are of poorer quality on the frame than on my camera or on my computer. I chose it because it is compatible with a USB drive - one of few on the market that is (which, by the way, makes absolutely no sense!)

The remote control that came with our frame did not work. I tried replacing the battery and that did not help. When I called Nextar they told me to take the frame back to the retailer even though a separate notice in the box said "STOP - DO NOT RETURN PRODUCT TO STORE". After a bit more conversation they finally agreed to send a new remote. I just received the new remote and it only works for 1 function. The quality of the picture is outstanding but since the remote is necessary to fully operate the frame I find the product to be very disappointing.

The most beautiful digital photo frame ever! It has a very large screen, warm wood frame, multiple inputs, outputs, even a remote control! I loaded it with pictures and videos of us over the past years and gave as an anniversary gift-- he loved it! He still loves it! He's a gadget guy so of course it met both our needs--emotional gadget gift.
