This is a game that the whole family can play together ages 3 and up- it can be competitive or not. One great feature is that it CAN also be one player- this is a nice option for when my 5 year old wants to play but everyone else is busy.

My kids got this for their birthday present. The first time they played it, two of my kids got blood blisters from the toy pinching them. I thought it was a fluke. But every time they've played with this toy (four times total before I pitched it), every time they played it gave someone a blood blister from a pinch. This toy should be recalled.

That's what my five-year-old wanted to know after this, his new favorite toy, broke after just 4 uses. We are ordering a replacement from Amazon, hoping this durability issue was a fluke. If we can get one that lasts, I'll rate it 5 stars!

Bought this for my son's 8th birthday. He and 2 other 8 year old boys played it and loved it. We've played it inside and out. A nice alternative to video games!

For any technical details and minutia, I suggest that you look up Amazon's official review because I could not possibly be as thorough or as knowledgeable. Now, this is what I can say from my own perspective: we have 2 pre-tween boys, one 5 yr. old girl, 2 dogs and about a dozen kids living in the neighborhood and showing up just about every day in the summer for the pool and the trampoline. We bought this from Amazon back in May and everyone loved it, including the dogs. So, for most of this summer, whenever they decided to play Hyper Dash, we were having the kids running around as directed, the dogs running after the kids and myself, trying to focus on the stuff I was supposed to study. Based on other reviews, the game can be played indoors as well. We never allowed it but, as the weather turns colder, we may allow them to play in the basement whenever they get together for some fun. Now, talking about things the kids 'learn'... let's not exaggerate :). Sure, there is a level of the game where the kid has to compute 3-2 quickly but, come on, there's not A LOT to learn. It's mostly physical and that's how the kids play it and it's good this way. They ARE running a lot but do not expect to see better grades in school. What you do not see in the Amazon official review it's the durability factor. I am pleased to state that, after 4 months and, probably 20-30 hours of play, nothing broke yet. I expect the game to be still unbroken after one year.

This is a simple but very fun game. You can put the targets close or move them further apart to get moving more. The is a great rainy day game and will keep them happy and busy for at least an hour then they will be ready to chill for a while.

The first delivery fizzled within hours of opening the package. BUT, Amazon agreed to expedite and ship replacement immediately along with a free return mailer for the first one. Kids aged 4 up to 11, and all adults have been enjoying the variety of educational games available on this incredible toy for weeks now. And none of the kids has commented on the fact that they are getting lots of exercise as a bonus. We'll be buying several as Holiday gifts for the families on our list.

We gave this to our son for his ninth birthday. He has had a lot of fun with it. He thinks it's really cool. He sets up different orders for the colors and is planning on having friends over for a "Hyper Dash Tournament." We would recommend this for other kids.

A great way to get the kids up and moving and away from sit down video games. Hyper Dash can be played indoors or out. It can be played by children together even if their ages differ. When we set it up, even the adults got involved. There was lots of laughter, running around, and fun. There are various levels of play so boredom would be a long way off. The kids adored it.
