| I've tried two primers, Glo-minerals and Tarte. I like both but it's hard to get all of the product out of either container. Tarte makes it a little easier - you can cut the container down with scissors. I've read the ingredients lists for several other types of primers and Tarte seems to have the healthiest. |

I recently received Tarte Clean
Slate as a sample, tried it prior to make up and after moisturizing and loved it. It adds an extra silkly feel to your skin and feels soothing when applied. |

This item states online, paraben free. But, this item contains two kinds of parabens. If you are allergic, do not purchase!!!

| I can't imagine going without this product. My make-up glides on so much more smoothly. Another reviewer gave the great hint too, of applying it on the eyelids. I now do this sparingly and my eyeshadow no longer "sticks" in clumps. |

I love makeup primers and for the days when I go to work and I wear a full face of it I always make sure to apply primer first, without the primer the look is not as flawless. This is my second brand that I tired since I started using primer, my other favorite is Philosophy's The Present, and while it's more of a gooey lotion it's also wonderful
This primer is silicon based, it looks like a thick, cloudy gel and a little amount on clean and moisturized face is all that I need. It can also be used on eye lids only, to help eye shadow stick, and it really works for keeping eye makeup in place longer. When I use this my skin has a nice glow and overall the makeup looks really lovely.
This won't make bad skin magically perfect but it helps to keep makeup in place all day, it prevents eye shadow from creasing and it keeps the skin looking better, I certainly don't bother applying foundation without this! It also last forever, I only buy this once a year, twice at most, so it goes a long way...
