While the idea of the Turbo Port is great it is limited by it's ability to control the Slingbox wirelessly. It must be connected on the same circuit as the slingbox, so if wireless router is not in your living room or on the same circuit then this will not help you live wirelessly

This worked great. It was easy to set up with a slingbox. It is connected to by satellite box downstairs in the basement and I get a great picture via my router on the first floor. Slingmedia rocks

this only works if both outlets are on the same circuit. usually the router and the sling box are not on same circuit

When I moved from a single floor home to a townhouse my ancient, but great Slingbox could not pick up the signal. At first I was told to use a USB booster - by a store - wrong, my Slingbix is so old there is no usb slot. So, I called Slingbox and found our about the bridge system. Amazon had a great price for it. It truly is as simple as 1,2,3 to put together and viola my Slingbox was working again! Ye ha! Excellent for the old Slingbox users, or those os us far away from a dsl base!

I purchased this product for use with my satelite receiver. I don't have a land line phone but istead use broadband VOIP. The dish company charges every month if the receiver is not connected to phone line or broadband. This thing simply works. Connect 1 of them to your broadband router and then connect the other to your receiver. Don't forget to plug it in. It's really that simple, and It works. Very happy with this product.

Does exactly what they say it does. Simply plugged one into my slingbox and the other into my router in another room and was up and running in minutes. It performs just as if it was plugged directly into my router. Wonderful product and highly recommended!

At first, I was concerned because this item has to plug into the outlets on the wall and if the conduits are not working together inside the wall then you have to find another way to bridge the router to your media center in another room. Fortunately, the wireless router and turbo ports communicated. Had to go from room to room to set up equipment and software. Would recommend this item for people who do not want a TV in other rooms with all the cables and wires. If you get blinking lights on the turbolink's reset the main box give it a few minutes don't give up.

This thing couldn't be easier to get up and running - truly plug & play. Don't plug it in next to anything with a dimmer on it though! It caused my touch-sensitive dimming light fixture to fluctuate wildly between off, low, medium and high whenever the Slinglink was sending data. Quite a light show! Moving it to a different plug worked. A little disappointed at the throughput - I'm getting about 9-11 Mbps (enough for video streaming though).

Now have "TV" in the kitchen & can do email, etc., also. Need an extra Slinglink Turbo box at the computer to maintain the network. Originally I thought the network-over-wiring would be strong enough but it isn't. Luckily I purchased 2 packages of the Slinglink Turbos (qty of 4 boxes). Baud rate is great & high video & audio quality are maintained.
