| The walkman has all of the features I wanted and is easy to use and maintain. I arranged for next day delivery. Weather interfered with this and I received it within 2 days. Amazon refunded all shipping charges to rectify the late delivery. I was very pleased with the way this was handled. |

| The size of this unit is great. The only drawback is that it must be charged thru a USB connector from a computer. Battery life is acceptable and the sound quality is good. |

| Purchased a RED 4GB Walkman at the NEX. Sounded so good that I had to get one for my wife. Found hers on AMAZON for $33 less after taxes. Ordered it with Supersaver shipping and it arrived in less than the amount of time the site said it would. The sound is superb, the size and weight are tiny. The capacity is phenominal, I have over 50 complete albums on each. The battery life is what the claim said at 33 hrs. It seems to me that I get more then that sometimes, but I've only timed it once. I'm still exploing what this device will do. |

My four stars on this MP3 player may be an under-estimation of what it can do. Have not put in the disc to learn all there is to know about the hows and ways. In other words, I've not read the instructions. That being said, I"ve been able to download from discs transferred into the computer and from music sites. am slowly figuring out how to access that music once it is in the player (I know, the instructions would shorten that learning curve a lot). AND I can't fit the earbuds into my ears, which has nothing to do with the machine, but my anatomy. Grabbed a set of earphone from my old walkman and they work fine. The bottom line is, the unit is easy to use right out of the box, sounds fine, holds much music, is small and compact, and is everything you might expect or want from an MP3 player. At a reasonable price.

"great little player" | 2008-09-02 |

Works with both my pcs...windows xp and windows vista. It was a good deal on Amazon for half-price when I bought it. Songs are tranferable by cut and paste or through windows media player 11. All you'd need to do is install the software (CD provided).
No major downsides. The accessories are expensive (as with all Sony products). A Silicon skin would set you back $20 at least. I'd recommend you replace the earphones to some better sounding ones...like Creative's EP60 earbuds....Enjoy! |

| As a person who is not all that tech savvy, I was very intimidated when it came to shopping for an MP3 player. I had seen the problems that other people had. One thing I knew for sure was that I did not want an Ipod since most of my music files are WMA. So it was important for me to find a player that supported all of my files. I tried that converting thing once and it was a mess!! I took this player out of the box and plugged it in my computer and it immediately began to sync with Window Media Player. That was it. Nothing complicated..just the way I like it. It plays perfectly and I've had no problems. I am not all that interested in the video component of the player at this point so I haven't really used it (which is why I only gave 4 stars). I just wanted something that would play my music for me on my upcoming beach trip and this one is perfect thus far. |

"Excellent FM Radio" | 2008-08-13 |

| Actually bought this player mainly for the FM radio. Radio reception and sound quality are excellent. Equalizer works for both mp3 and radio. Radio presets easy to scroll through, just press forward or back button. I believe it has 20 presets, which is way more than enough. Previously used Sony analog walkman for years because it had the best sound quality, even though it was inexpensive. Was looking for an inexpensive mp3 player with digital radio, but could not find a good one until now. Closest was the Sansa E series but the equalizer did not apply to the radio, only mp3, and the sound was flat and muffled. |
